The Government of Karnataka conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) through the Karnataka Examination Authority. This entrance exam is a gateway to obtain an engineering seat through the Government quota. The CET conducts examination in four subjects namely Physics Chemistry Biology and Mathematics. Candidates who wish to seek admission in engineering courses appear for the Physics Chemistry and Mathematics exams. Based on the CET ranking obtained, candidates are offered a choice of colleges/universities at the time of CET counselling. CMRU can be chosen at the time of CET counselling.

There are a total of three main rounds of seat allotment in the CCMT. The authority will also conduct two special rounds of CCMT counselling. The merit list for seal allocation will be prepared based on the GATE scores. There may be some cases where two or more candidates score the same marks; in such cases, the following will be considered:
- In the case of the same year's GATE qualification, preference will be given to the candidate who has scored higher GATE marks out of 100. - If GATE marks are out of 100 and the year of passing GATE for two candidates is the same, then preference will be based on the All India Rank (AIR). - If the marks out of 100, years of passing the GATE and AIR are the same, then the Date of Birth will be considered. Hello, In general, it is not quite possible to tell if you will be able to get a seat under category-b. It solely depends on the students who apply for a seat under category-b. But in your case, your rank might not be quite not enough to get you a seat in CSE/ECE/it at above mentioned institutes. Good Luck!

The minimum percentile required for admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam varies depending on the course and the campus. According to a source, you can apply for admission through the JEE Main percentile score. Yes, you have decent chances of getting Computer Science Engineering in SRM University Amravati Campus based on previous years cut-offs and previous years data. The expected SRM JEE Cutoff given by experts for CSE is 9500 to 10500 and your SRM JEE rank is 10059. I hope this helps!
