Yes, there are some seat reservations at Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University. These reservations are made for the following categories:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 15% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC.
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to ST.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to OBC.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 3% of the seats are reserved for candidates with disabilities.

The college offers management seats, which can be obtained through KCET, COMEDK, JEE, and management quota.
The admission process includes a written test, group discussion/extempore, and personal interview.
For management quota seats, candidates have to appear for the selection process conducted by the institute.
50% of the seats are filled based on marks scored in the PGCET exam for government quota seats.
The remaining 50% of seats are filled through management quota, and exams such as MAT, PGCET, ATMA, KMAT, CAT, and CMAT are accepted for admission.

The Reservation for B.Tech Through JEE Mains/KCET/PESSET is : 60-720 Seats
The Reservation for B.B.A/L.L.B Hons 45% for general candidates, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST candidates, as well as a qualified score in either the CLAT/ PESSAT/ test will be : 120

As per the official website of School of Computer and Information Sciences under UoH, getting a seat at UoH can happen via the following ways:
- Admission to 5-year Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science will be done through JEE (Main) exam and the counselling for admission is done by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA)/ Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)
- Foreign candidates are required to clear SAT-I or ACT examination as a pre-requisite for admission to this 5-year Integrated course and must apply directly to office of International Affairs, University of Hyderabad

Reservations are also there in our institution. They are mainly depend upon the course. Candidates who belong to EWS, OBC-NCL, SC/ST, or PwD category can seek reservation in JEE Exams, i.e., reservation in JEE Main and reservation in JEE Advanced both. Candidates who belong to the GEN-EWS category will get reservations of 10% seats in every course.Reservation is provided to the members of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes @ 15%, 7.5% and 27%, respectively.
