Yes, NEET is mandatory for practicing medicine in India, but the details depend on your path:
MBBS / Medical degree abroad:
If you complete an MBBS abroad and want to practice in India, you must pass the FMGE / NExT exam (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination / National Exit Test).
To be eligible for FMGE/NExT, you must have qualified NEET-UG before joining the foreign medical college.
Implication: Even if you study abroad, NEET is required before admission if you plan to work as a doctor in India.
No, not if your goal is to practice in India later.

No, it is not easy to get into Trinity College Dublin as the acceptance rate here is only 34%. So out of every 100 applicants, only 34 were rolled out an offer letter. The students need to perform really well in academics, English language tests like IELTS/TOEFL or PTE and meet all the admission eligibility requirements by TCD Ireland.
