Swansea University is doing pretty well in both UK and global rankings lately.

Global Rankings:

In the QS World University Rankings 2026, Swansea is ranked 292nd in the world — their best ever!

In the Times Higher Education (THE) global ranking, it falls in the 251–300 range.

US News ranks it a bit lower at #439 globally.

So globally, it's considered a solid mid-tier university, especially improving in re

cent years.
