To take admission to Houston University as an international freshman student, the applicants must have no college coursework. The students must have an equivalent GPA of 3.0 or higher. Also, they must meet the English language requirements. For graduate courses, the applicants must check the individual course website. Besides this, the applicants should also submit the application materials like academic transcripts, evidence of English language proficiency score, copy of current passport page, financial documents, etc.

University of Houston accepts admission of students with a GPA on a range of 3.0 to 4.0 . However, it is recommended to maintain a GPA between 3.5 to 4.0, considering the past year's admissions.
