No, the University of Buffalo is ranked better than the University of North Texas, as per the Shanghai rankings 2025. For the University of Buffalo, ARWU rankings have been dropping for three years constantly.

The MS in CS course of UNT Denton is 2-3 years. While studying for this course, students can select a specialisation area in Consultation with a major professor and graduate coordinator.
