The University of the West of England offers scholarships to international students. The details of some of the scholarships for which international students are eligible are given below:

• Chancellor’s Scholarship: This award allows 50% of the tuition fees. Also, recipients will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Office or other departments, and will be required to undertake ambassadorial activity
• GREAT Scholarships: This scholarship is applicable to Indian students applying to UWE Bristol. This scholarship offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK
• International Students Scholarships: This scholarship is offered by UWE Bristol. As per this scholarship, students are offered £4,000 (first-year only) for students joining the undergraduate courses and postgraduate taught courses

Yes, Indian Students are eligible for the scholarships, and the University offers scholarships only on a merit basis for UG and PG courses. These scholarships is under the name  UWS Global Scholarships for Undergraduate and Postgraduate, the following are the eligibility criteria:

Undergraduate scholarships: The scholarship is worth £1500 annually for Undergraduate studies.

Postgraduate Scholarship: There will be a discount on tuition fees for self-funded students who have completed one year of undergraduate study at the University of West Scotland and wish to progress to full-time postgraduate study.

Sports Scholarships: The University also provides Sports scholarships to support students with potential success in sports. There are three levels of scholarships available: 

• Gold for National or International standards
• Silver for national or international standards
• Broze for regional standards but with success at the national level.

The University of Scotland’s computer Science course was ranked 83 in 2023 as mentioned below, with its ranking fluctuating since 2019.The University was ranked 85 in 2019, dropped significantly in 2020 due to covid, and improved in 2021 to 89 position. However, it saw an improvement in 2022, ranking 65^th.

Despite the Fluctuations the University of Scotland computer Science course remains reputable per the Complete University Guide ranking. Overall the university is a reputable institution with a strong computer Science program.
