Wageningen University aims to attract excellent students who have a chance of doing a PhD after their MSc. It is basically for international MSc students starting an MSc program. This scholarship is based on invitation. It is not possible to apply directly.

To apply for the University of Wageningen, the applicants can apply via studielink. Then, upload the documents at the Wageningen University application portal (Osiris). The general application steps are given below:
- First of all, apply via studielink and then, upload the documents over Osiris
- Then, complete the study choice check (online questionnaire)
- Then, submit the certified documents
- Next, pay the tuition fees
- After the university has received the admission documents and students have paid the tuition fees, WUR will start the application of your visa /residence permit

Wageningen University & Research Center acceptance rate range between 44% - 55%. This means that this university is somewhat selective at the time of admission. So, the students seeking admission to this university must meet the entry requirements and submit the application on time.

Though the position has seen a slight decline, it still ranks among the Top 10 Universities for Environmental Sciences courses.
