Placement landscape for M.Sc. Computer Science programs usually have excellent and various roles with alumni with job opportunities in alumni in various fields. The need for technical experts in software development, data science, cyber security and AI/mL is continuously increasing. The remuneration can be much higher than the special job, years of experience and the company's basis.

Both B.Sc and M.Sc programs in Yenepoya University have placements but M.Sc considerably has better placements due to specializations and higher skills for the students. The graduates of M.Sc are often eligible to avail more competitive job roles, salary packages and research positions as compared to B.Sc graduates, who might have to start off from entry level positions. Yenepoya University versus Srinivas Group of Colleges: these two could be virtually equal regarding the respect they enjoy, but they certainly have disparities as far as placements are concerned. Most students come from different streams for academic support and also diversity of programs at Yenepoya University. It does campus placement especially in health, engineering, and management where companies like Infosys, Wipro, and more have shown interest.

Yenepoya University has certain course specific requirements for M.Sc. programs offered by the university for the academic year2023. Generally qualified undergraduate degree in B.Sc, BAMS, BHMS, BPT or B. Pharm with an aggregate of at least 50% is theminimum qualification required inmost cases. However, relaxation in the percentage may be applicable for SC/ST candidates.

For most undergraduate programmes like MBBS and BDS, Yenepoya University does have some eligibility criteria which includes:
- class 12th requirements: candidates are required to have atleast 50% in physics, chemistry and biology in aggregate. However it can be slightly bought down for reserved categories.
- Entrance exam: students who apply for medical courses such as MBBS and bds needs to have NEET score that meets the cutoff which varies with number of applicants, toughness of exam and seats availability.

To get admission to a B.Sc Yenepoya University you need to have completed your 12th grade with a Science background securing minimum of 60% marks.
