Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine

Candidate must have passed M.V.Sc. in the Concerned Subject from a recognized Institute/ University. Group of Exam Paper should be PDV. NOTE: Candidates who have been put on Conduct Probation for more than one year during their study period, will not be given admission in any Agricultural University. There is no Age limit. It will be compulsory for in-service candidates to appear in the entrance examination. Employees regularly working in all the agricultural universities of the state, namely, Chandrashekhar Azad Agricultural and Technology University, Kanpur, Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural and Technology University, Kumarganj, Ayodhya, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural and Technology University, Meerut, Banda Agricultural and Technology University, Banda and Mahatma Buddha Agricultural and Technology University, Kushinagar will be eligible. Candidate must be a native of Uttar Pradesh. The definition of Native Settlements (original residences) of Uttar Pradesh is as follows: - Such Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from Uttar Pradesh and have been residing in Uttar Pradesh for the last five years. OR - A resident of India whose father's Place of residence or native place is Uttar Pradesh and who is himself a resident of Uttar Pradesh. OR - A citizen of India whose father's place of residence or native place was not in Uttar Pradesh but who or whose father has acquired residence in Uttar Pradesh, but the period of residence of the candidate in Uttar Pradesh after such acquisition has been for a period of not less than five years till the date of submission of this application. OR - For wards of employee of Government of India (civil or military service) or employees of public sector undertaking like Life Insurance Corporation, Nationalized Banks, Indian Heavy Electricals, Indian Drug and Pharmaceutical Ltd., serving in Uttar Pradesh (attachment of employer's certificate is mandatory), the condition is that such candidate will submit an affidavit to this effect on a stamp paper of appropriate value. OR A person of Indian origin who has migrated and whose ancestors were natives of Uttar Pradesh.
