B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025

College is decent, but if you have a good score, find better options.
Placements: I am doing a BE in mechanical engineering at Ajeenkya Dy Patil School of Engineering in Pune. This is a decent college, according to the cut-off. College is average according to the package. The average package here in mechanical engineering is about 3-4 LPA. Many average and some good companies visit the campus, but not all students get a good package on campus, it is decent according to the cut-off. Nestled, Wipro, Tata Motors, TCS, and HDFC Life companies like this have picked students from our college with a good package, but it can also be off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, classrooms are also decent, but the auditorium hall is small, according to the college and the number of students. The hostel is very good, security and cleanliness are good in the hostel, but the mess is not that good. For events and sports, the college hosts many cultural events, sports tournaments of BGMI, like game downloads, that happen on campus.
Faculty: Faculty are not that good, but some teachers are really good and passionate about their job. The college conducts many exhibitions for students to make some creative projects and gives prizes to those who participate. The course curriculum is relevant, and students get ready. The difficulty of the semester is not that hard, but if you have some knowledge and are decent students, you can easily score well on the exam just by smart studying 2-3 days before the exam.
Other: I am pursuing a BE in mechanical engineering, and I chose this course because I love robotics and automation. Actually, this college is not good for core branches like mechanical, civil, and electrical, but it is slowly getting better in that. CS aids like branches are better in this college. Many events, festivals, and extracurricular activities happen in large numbers. Scholarship is also good.

The curly tables of ADYPU.
Placements: As of now, the college placement doesn't seem good to me, like the placement rates are very low, to be honest. Mostly, the company doesn't take mass recruitment from the college. The highest package that I know is somewhere around 50 LPA. The good thing is that college provides placement preparation. The lowest I would say was around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, but it doesn't seem to work every time. For example, we have Wi-Fi everywhere in college, but it doesn't give the desired speed for completing your work. The classrooms and library are good. The hostel infrastructure is good, but guests have the same problem of not having good facilities. Even the mess food is not included in the hostel, so you have to buy it. Medical facilities are not that good, but they will work.
Faculty: The teachers are the best assets of the institution. They are all highly qualified, supportive, and readily available to help students succeed. The coursework is also effective, preparing you well for the relevant industry. While the exams are difficult and require significant effort, you SEE this rigour as a positive challenge that motivates hard work. The unique passing criteria, which require you to pass all three individual semester exams, ensure high standards are maintained.
Other: I chose this course by looking into the future, as I say, in the coming time, there will be a vast demand for this. The things that colleges need to improve are their internet connectivity. Then come the college events, which ensure that there is a good amount of events and other activities around the college.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty members, excellent placements in 2024, and really good.
Placements: College placements for my course are about 65%, and the university assured us about the placements. The highest package is 55 LPA, and the lowest is around 12 LPA. Internship opportunities are pushed, the seniors say there are many internship programs. Companies such as Tata, Infosys, Wipro, Google, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the university have been top-notch. It has excellent campus. We have simple and clean classrooms. There is a spacious library. A lot of indoor facilities are also provided. Hostel is 4/5, there are a lot of cafes around the campus so it has become a hangout spot in leisure time. Sports facilities have been solid, good coaches, separate grounds for every sport, such as basketball court, pickleball court, football ground, and cricket ground.
Faculty: Teachers and staff have been friendly and extremely helpful. They guide every step. They are competent and have a lot of experience. Teaching quality is excellent. Every lecture is not only teaching-related, but they also makes it more eventful and fun. The exams are not as difficult as I expected them to be. Teachers provide notes and question banks before the exam to give us an idea about how the exam will look.

If you are seeking a decent placement and good faculty members, you can go with ADYPU.
Placements: ADYPU offers impressive infrastructure, supportive faculty members, and good placement. Apart from the job, ADYPU also ensures to build and boost your skills and to make you industry-ready. In 2025, many of my seniors grabbed high-paying jobs and internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure, and also study environment is pretty much happening. As of 2025, the classrooms and study environment are also very good. Hostel facility is also nice, and rooms are big enough for you not to have any trouble. If you are well-skilled to make a good company around you, then the years of hostel life will also be fun.
Faculty: The curriculum that ADYPU provides is well-structured and designed to balance our practical and theoretical knowledge in our course. Exams are conducted semester-wise in which internals, practical exam marks, assessment marks, and assignment marks are included.

Strong placements and a great place to learn.
Placements: The placement cell at our university is quite proactive. It starts preparing us from the third year itself with aptitude training, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops. For our course 85 percent of students who opt for placements get placed successfully. The highest package offered is around 18 LPA from a major product-based company while the lowest is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our department has modern classrooms equipped with smart boards and projectors. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with decent speed, which is a great help for research and project work. Labs are excellent. We have specialized labs for various domains, including an Apple Lab for iOS development, a Data Science lab with high-end systems, and robotics labs. The central library is huge and well-stocked with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
Faculty: Most professors are highly qualified, with many holding PhDs from reputed institutions and possessing significant industry experience. They are approachable and always willing to clear our doubts, even outside lecture hours. The teaching quality is generally excellent, with a good balance between theoretical concepts and practical application.
Other: Placements are good. I wish the university would bring in more top-tier product-based companies for campus recruitment. Also, more frequent industrial visits to major tech hubs would be a great addition to the curriculum with better real-world exposure.

B.A. LL.B. - Batch of 2028
Offered by Ajeenkya DY Patil University-School of Law
4.6
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Law student life at DY Patil Law College.
Placements: Placements here are decent; we have many top-tier firms and companies like Infosys, Wiksate Solutions hiring law students and offering roles like legal researcher, contracts, and emerging manager etc. They also offer good CTC of up to 8 LPA, and the lowest being 3 LPA. Every year, almost 70% of the batch gets placements, and others go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great for law students here; we have a moot court hall, a seminar hall, and even classrooms that are quite spacious. We have projectors in each classroom, and the library is also well-stocked with the latest books. It consists of many national and international journals, Supreme Court cases, bare facts, etc. Hostels are also clean; some rooms have attached washrooms as well, but we are provided with fans in them, not ACs. The food is also good in the hostel, and both veg and non-veg options are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are from top NLUs and have great knowledge and understanding of their topics. They also hold many Ph.D. degrees in their fields, yet they are friendly and always easy to approach in case of doubt. The curriculum also covers all the major laws being taught, like institutional law, family law, etc. Additionally, we have electives that cover topics that are most usable in the practical world, like cyber law, human rights law, and along with all this, we have separate training for moots, drafting, ADR, etc.
Other: The crowd is mixed. Students are mostly local Maharashtrians, and others are from across India, like one of my friends from Bengaluru and some from Tamil Nadu as well. We have events throughout our college semester with college fest, extra law fest being held, and other events such as legal campus, moot competitions, workshops, etc.
