Absolutely satisfied with the campus life that AIIMS Kalyani offers.
Placements: All students undergo a mandatory rotatory internship. The amount is uniform for all AIIMS. After that, we have to give PG entrance exams to get admission in the PG branch of our choice. The payment there again varies. We get 30% internal reservations in our institution.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well-equipped. They provide a single bed, a rotating chair, a table, a bed side table, and a bookshelf. Girls get single rooms from the first year itself, whereas boys get them after second year. The single rooms have attached washrooms also. Overall, the hostel facility is great. They provide gym facilities (indoor and outdoor), indoor game room, badminton court, volleyball, basketball court, etc.
Faculty: We get very frequent exams. There are two semesters in each professional year, except that there are three semesters in second year. Teachers are very helpful and take classes on digital boards. Regular clinical and practical classes take place where every student gets to learn a lot.
Other: We have our annual fest, annual day, research day, and institutional day celebration. We also celebrate almost all festivals.

The infrastructure is very good, but the sports facilities need significant improvements.
Placements:  All the students of the 2022 batch are entitled to a 1-year internship of around Rs. 30,000 with an appropriate stipend, during which they learn many clinical skills and the art of medicine. After that, we are eligible to take the PG exams and pursue our careers further.
Infrastructure: The campus is very beautiful, with all the available classrooms and seminar rooms for lectures, along with a well-equipped laboratory for practical learning. However, the sports facilities are not satisfactory. The quality of food in the mess is also questionable.
Faculty: Teachers here are from all over India, coming from top medical colleges. The dedication and effort they put into teaching us are incredible. With a strict academic schedule where exams and classes are held regularly, the exams are manageable, with a passing rate of 75%.
Other: The teachers' passion for the human body inspired me to choose MBBS and to help save lives. The campus needs to be more student-friendly, where ideas and values are prioritized. Connectivity is quite good, with less crowd on campus, although it is increasing.

Why choose AIIMS Kalyani - All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Placements: The total strength of a batch is 125. Everyone has to do a compulsory internship for one year after the course for which a stipend is also given. After the internship, one can practice as an MBBS doctor in any government or corporate hospital or pursue higher studies.
Infrastructure: AIIMS provides world-class classrooms and laboratories along with modern equipment and accessories. The hostel is of top quality as compared to any other medical college. The library is also very nice, and one can access the resources even from their devices.
Faculty: AIIMS provides the top educators for students. They have done their studies from the renowned colleges of India as well as abroad. Rules are very strict for examinations. One has to pass every semester with at least 50% marks & and 75% attendance.
Other: I chose this course to become a doctor and one has to do an MBBS from any medical college. Only doctors in this world have the ability to compete with god. It is the best way to serve the mankind. Many events are organised throughout the year. There are many committees that organises events like sports events, literary events, dance, drama, etc. Events are also held by different departments of the college.

Overall experience in AIIMS Kalyani.
Placements: The placement thing doesn't exist in medical college. You have to do a mandatory internship of 1 year after passing the final year. In AIIMS, the stipend for the internship is 30k/month. Everyone gets a job after graduation. The average salary for a fresher ranges from 8-10 Lacs per annum. In central institutes or Delhi, it is 1.2 Lacs per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch. We have Wi-Fi in our classrooms, canteen, library, and hospital building. Labs are fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The central library has all the necessary books and online access to journals. The hostel you will get is mostly a single room with an attached washroom equipped with a geyser. The room is well-furnished. The mess is common for boys and girls, and the food is decent. We have a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, indoor badminton court, table tennis, chess, and carrom board.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is top-notch, as expected from AIIMS. The course curriculum is followed according to the NMC guidelines. Semester exams are of moderate level. If you study consistently, you are going to pass the exam.
Other: I chose it as it was my childhood dream. I just wish the toxicity in this field could be reduced. We do have an annual fest and an academic fest. We celebrate every festival, be it Onam, Pongal, Diwali, Eid, Saraswati Puja, or Christmas. The campus surroundings are not that much developed. If you want to hang out, Kolkata is 50-60 km away.

Good academics with great infrastructure.
Placements: 50% placement, as it is a medical college, so a compulsory internship is guaranteed. If someone doesn't get a job, it's their own choice as they opt for preparing for a PG seat. Otherwise, it's very easy to get a job as a junior doctor; if someone is a junior doctor in AIIMS, they earn a min pay of 1 lac. It varies in other state-run medical colleges; salaries of junior doctors in state-run government colleges are within 70000.
Infrastructure: We get a single occupancy room from the second year onwards with a study table, a chair, a side table, a bookshelf, a cupboard, and an attached bathroom. The rooms are well lit for ease of studying, libraries are open till 12 at night, fully air-conditioned, and state-of-the-art lecture theatres are there. Wi-Fi is in the library and college, not present in hostel premises, although many students are paying for their own Wi-Fi that they set up in their rooms.
Faculty: All the faculty members are superqualified; for complicated topics, we get integrated classes too. Faculty mentors are assigned to each student to help them deal with their personal and academic issues. Students interested in research projects can get help from any faculty they want to get help from. This help has led many to get huge scholarships too. Exams are the most hectic part of our life: too many exams and too large of a syllabus, but it's important if we want to become great doctors, and after some time you get habituated anyway. It's very difficult to pass the first few semesters, but later on, when you get the hang of it, it gets easier.
Other: The need to earn money while being a helping hand to someone has led me to become a doctor, but as time passes I realize money is still secondary, and it's the helping people part that gives you more worth as a person. Regular fests are being held, and many celebrities are called; we enjoy these times.

AIIMS Kalyani
Admission FAQs

Q:   Can I get admission to AIIMS Kalyani for MBBS with 60% in Class 12th?
A:

Admission to AIIMS Kalyani for MBBS is extremely hard, with the typical cutoff for Class 12th being much higher than 60%. AIIMS normally demands strong performance in both the entrance test and the board examinations. It is best to strive for a larger proportion to increase your chances. Check the official AIIMS Kalyani website or contact the institution for the latest up-to-date entrance requirements, since they may change. Consider extensively preparing for the entrance exam to boost your application. Admission selections are made based on a number of variables other than the Class 12th percentage.

Q:   What is the latest cutoff information for admission to MBBS at AIIMS Kalyani?
A:

The latest cut-off for AIIMS Kalyani is yet to be published. For General category, the last round off closing rank for 2023 was 2176. Compared to the previous years, the competition to get into AIIMS has increased as cut-offs have shown that trend. We are awaiting the recent cut-off information as NEET 2024 is yet to take place.

Q:   What is the average package for MBBS students at AIIMS Kalyani?
A:

It can be challenging to locate information on specific placement statistics for medical colleges, including average wages. But from what I could find, it doesn't appear that AIIMS Kalyani releases official data on average packages for MBBS graduates.

Nevertheless, according to the placement of recent years, the average yearly wage is roughly INR 5.9 Lakhs. It's vital to remember that starting earnings can vary based on things like specialisation and selected career path and that this information may not be the most recent.

Q:   Can students with a minimum cutoff for MBBS get a seat at AIIMS Kalyani?
A:

Getting the minimum cutoff marks for the AIIMS entrance exam does not guarantee admission to AIIMS. For example, the AIIMS Kalyani MBBS cutoff for 2022 for the general category was a minimum rank of 2307. For 2023, the cutoff for the OBC  category was 3848.

The cutoff marks for the AIIMS entrance exam range from 50-60? for general category candidates and 45-55? for reserved category candidates. The last cutoffs also change a lot depending on all India quota Or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

AIIMS kalyani has 125 seats for Indian nationals for the MBBS course.

Q:   Which is the best course at AIIMS Kalyani?
A:

The "best" course at AIIMS Kalyani depends on your personal preferences and professional objectives.

The most common option and the starting point for a medical career is MBBS. Although the curriculum is challenging, there are many other specializations and career routes available.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing: This degree gives you the abilities necessary to become a registered nurse if you're interested in patient care but aren't interested in becoming a doctor.

Following MBBS, students can pursue postgraduate degrees in MD, MS, or MDS to specialize in a particular area of medicine. They are appropriate if you want to concentrate on a certain area of medicine.

B.Sc. Paramedical: This degree offers instruction in allied health fields, such as lab technology or radiology, that assist physicians.

Q:   Can students with a minimum cutoff for MBBS get a seat at AIIMS Kalyani?
A:

Reaching AIIMS Kalyani's MBBS minimal cutoff is an important yet first step. The admissions process is extremely difficult and takes into account variables other than the cutoff scores, such academic records and total exam results. Meeting the cutoff alone does not ensure a place because a thorough review is used to make the final decision. Prospective students should strive for a competitive score and visit the official AIIMS Kalyani website and instructions to keep updated about the specific admissions procedure.

Q:   Is AIIMS Kalyani as good as AIIMS Gorakhpur for MBBS?
A:

AIIMS Kalyani and AIIMS Gorakhpur are new institutions that are still developing their reputation and resources compared to more established AIIMS colleges. If we compare the cut-off for the year 2023, AIIMS Kalyani has a little advantage as it was 2176 compared to AIIMS Gorakhpur which had 2600. It also outshines AIIMS Gorakhpur in placement ratings with 5 compared to 4.3 in 2023.

Q:   What was the cutoff trend at AIIMS Kalyani throughout the past few years for General category?
A:

AIIMS Kalyani NEET UG cutoff 2024 was released for admission to the MBBS Course. The cutoff rank for the General AI category candidates was 2149. During NEET UG Cutoff 2023, the Cutoff rank to get into AIIMS Kalyani for the General AI category was 1985; while the cutoff rank in 2022 was 2783. Looking at the cutoff ranks, there has been a fluctuating trend in competition.

A:

Candidates must typically meet the following requirements to be eligible for MBBS at AIIMS Kalyani:
