Generally 50 seats (UR) are left for open round counseling so if you getting rank under 2500 then you must go for open round, you might have good chance . Even from this year number of seats increased so closing rank may extend to 3000 to 3200 .
Even after open round if some seats are still left vacant then college do spot counseling which is the last chance to get admission, but don't depend on this .
