Review of Allahabad University.

Placements: Placement facilities are good for everyone every year because exams are also on a yearly basis. We can get good opportunities to explore new jobs, and several sector companies hire students based on our skills and resume. We can get high-paying jobs as well.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and affordable. It is between the city, so we can get everything in the direction of the city from one place. We can enjoy college life. The hostel is also available in the college, but it is available on a marks and merit basis, and we have to fill out a form for that.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. There are no language barriers, and teachers are also good for everyone and are helpful. They listen to our doubts well. Exams are generally held on a yearly basis, and the difficulty level is high, so we have to study hard.

Other: I suggest students join this college if they want to study hard.

Just being honest about the college.

Placements: The placement facilities are good. Number of students got placed according to their resume, and good opportunity to meet new companies and explore several opportunities. You can get an internship as well in your college during the time of events.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and affordable. Locality is also great near the campus, you can get everything easily on the street. Hostel is also good but you can get a hostel by scoring good marks and applying in the form. Hostel has a mess which provides good food.

Faculty: Faculty members are very nice to students. Teachers are friendly as well. They are helpful in solving doubts. They have helpful nature. Exams are yearly based, and are very hard to score in every course. You have to study hard to get good CGPA because of yearly exam syllabus is also lengthy.

Other: If you want to study, then only choose this college.

I am not satisfied with the administration of AU.

Placements: Generally, after completing B.Com, you can't be placed at a very good salary. There is no proper placement process, when companies come, students do not get proper information from the administration. There is no scope for an internship in Prayagraj. Maybe some students are placed in the last few years who know about the placement cell, but they only get a salary of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month.

Infrastructure: The campus of AU is beautiful, but the Commerce department is not good. There is a small campus of the Commerce Department, and it is not attractive. The libraries are good, and many students go to the library rather than class. Sports and games are connected once a year, but only the best and shortlisted candidates are allowed to play.

Faculty: At AU, exams are conducted on an annual basis, as there is no semester system. The annual exams are very tough, and the passing percentage for B.Com is very low, it is ony 40% to 50%. Some Professors are very qualified and knowledgeable, but students do not attend classes.

Other: At AU, events and fests are not organized, and there are no extracurricular activities conducted. But scholarships are properly distributed.

I will say you will enjoy your college life and studies equally. Best wishes from my side.

Placements: The number of students placed in my course is very few. The highest average package is 2 LPA, and the lowest average package is 1 LPA in my course. The number of students get internships from my course is 90%. No top roles are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: My college infrastructure is good. Classrooms are well furnished. There is well-stocked library. We also have Wi-Fi, canteen, labs, and computer class. Extracurricular activities are there. Campus environment is good and learning. College provides hostel facilities and mess also.

Faculty: My college teachers are so well-educated. They are very supportive and cooperative with students and they clear all our doubts. They try to enhance our confidence and get some more to learn. They provide good education and good skills for students. My college conducts annual exams, and we can easily manage them. Faculty members are good.

Other: If you want to study regularly and give your full time to it, then only will it be good for you.

If you want to pursue BCom with very low fees and good faculty, then you can definitely go for it.

Placements: So the course is BCom, and there's not much placement in this field as we all know. It’s very tough to get even 60% because the copy checking is very strict here, making it challenging to achieve both good marks and placement. There's hardly any placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is what we can call average, like every other college. Some seminar halls have AC facilities, but mostly, classes are non-AC. Regarding the women's hostel, the campus is huge with lots of plants and space; there’s also a basketball court and an open gym. The food in the mess is somewhat average.

Faculty: Professors are highly qualified, very knowledgeable, and generous. They are not rude and will help you if you are respectful towards them. It’s a central government university, and being a well-known and old university, the overall staff is very nice. I don’t think this course is very relevant; instead, some vocational courses might add more value to your life. Exams are very tough with no cheating allowed, and I have to work hard to pass; you will hardly get 60 percent.

Other: If you want to be a PhD holder, you can pursue this course as it is very affordable. The BCom fees are only around 3500 for the whole year, so anyone can pay for it. You also get many facilities for this price that you can't find in other universities.
