CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page.  JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. Yes, Allahabad University offers hostel facility to its students. Admission to Allahabad University hostel is made out of the merit lists drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test of the respective courses. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria set by the university before applying for hostel. The basic eligibility criteria is that the a candidate should be a regular student of a degree course of the university. There are total of 15 hostels availble at the University of Allahabad, of which 9 are designated for boys and 6 for female students.

Students should have the minimum marks required if they want to be admission to an LL.B at Allahabad University Law Faculty. You should have a minimum of 45% aggregate for the general category in Class 12. Students from other categories have different minimums 42% for OBC and 40% aggregate for SC/ST. Students should appear on the entrance exam, i.e. CUET. University has the 85 %aggregate demand from CUET and 15% aggregate needed for the Class 12.

Allahabad University BCA admission is not based on the applicant's merit in Class 12. It is based on their performance in CUET UG. Applicants just have to pass Class 12 with relevant subjects to be eligible to pursue BCA at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 50% is eligible to apply for BCA at the university. However, they will only get an admission if they have a valid CUET UG score. If a candidate fails to secure a seat for BCA at Allahabad University, they can try to get admission at some other college offering the course. As per the latest cutoff data available for BCom courses at Allahabad University, the cutoff is 365 and above for the unreserved category and for the OBC category the cutoff is 288 and above. To get admission to a BCom course, candidates need to get a good score in UGAT or CUET and qualify for the basic eligibility criteria which is, candidates should have a passing percentage in Class 12 from a recognised board.

The exam paper is divided into two levels. Level-I of the CRET test consists of two papers. Paper I has 50 objective-type questions of 2 marks each. Objective type 25 questions are from Research Methodology and 25 questions are subject-specific. There is no negative marking. Paper-2 is subjective with small, medium and long answer-type questions. The total marks of both papers are 300. Additionally, the application fee for the exam is INR 1,600 for unreserved and OBC category candidates and INR 800 for SC/ ST and PwD candidates. 

LL.B at Allahabad University Law Faculty have different eligibility criteria. Students must need clear Class 12 with 45% aggregate for the general category. There is a 5% relaxation for SC/ST and a 3% relaxation for OBC candidates. Students also need to pass the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUET). There is always a minimum score set in the law domain test for students to score. Moreover, the university is open to accepting the various boards for 12th Class scores. It includes CBSE, UP Board and ISC.

Yes, Allahabad University offers a three-year full-time BCA programme in self-financed and general mode. This programme is spread over three years and six semesters. To be eligible for this course, students must have completed their Class 12 with Science or Commerce stream. In case the student has passed Class 12 from a recognised board other than the Science/ Commerce, they must have studied Mathematics/ Statistics/ IT/ CS/ Information Science as one of the subjects in their Class 12. Final selection to BCA, however, is subject to CUET UG exam conducted by NTA.
