B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024
4.4
There are excellent teachers at Amity University in mechanical engineering.
Placements: In the previous year, the placement record in mechanical engineering course was 100%. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Asian Paints, Bosch, etc., visit our college. Automobile companies also visit our college. Students got internships in BHEL, Prism Cement, etc. They also got internships in the automobile industry. Students showed interest in Solidworks and manufacturing internships, with some shifting towards IT and software companies. Many companies visit our college every year.
Infrastructure: All sports facilities are provided by our college, but it is difficult to use them. Classrooms have air-conditioners and Wi-Fi. We have a library. Many machines and workshops are available in our college. All the hostel facilities are excellent. The mess food is improved. There are 2 boys' and 2 girls' hostels in our college. We have a huge ground for football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best, except for 1-2. The curriculum is very disciplined. We have 1 mid-term exam and unit tests. Faculty members are experienced from top colleges. They are Ph.D. holders. They are helpful. They teach thoroughly every topic as per GATE and other exams. The course is well-structured and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. Only 1 or 2 students have backlogs. The remaining students pass exams.
Other: Students joined this college because it has good placement records and teaching. Other than this, CSE students joined this college due to its excellent placement record. Other branch students choose their respective fields like mechanical, civil, and electrical by themselves rather than getting chosen by branch. Mechanical is the soul branch of this college. All things are good in our college. Our college should open the library after 6 pm. Most of the alumni are settled in Germany and other foreign countries, and some cleared GATE, UPSC, and other government jobs. Amichroma and Sangthan are major fests that occur every year. The campus crowd is good. Students get scholarships based on their 12th and JEE Mains scores. The campus is very beautiful. It is in the mountain region.

Facility of the hostel was good and quality of food better than other mess in the Gwalior, medical facility was not so good it's my personal opinion. sports and games are also good but they need to improve their sports and co curricular activities.
Faculty: 1. teachers were helpful for our course, they are qualified and knowledgeable but quality of teaching not good. 2. Yes course curriculum was relevant but they didn't make the students ready for industry because practical course was not there so student doesn't having practical experience. 3. B.Tech students they were not having a technical knowledge and basic knowledge of the subject.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the Placements in 2018 batch.
Placements: Not even a single student was placed in the core mechanical field. In the last days around 4 students out of 54 were placed in the core field that too with a very low package less than 3lpa. CRC is so corrupt that they bought fake companies that provided fake call letters to the students. They had bought BPO'S to hire engineers.
Infrastructure: The only thing that was good at amity is their Infrastructure and their Wi-Fi. They do not provide any good practical knowledge to the students. They are making followers not the engineers. There's no scope for new ideas, inventions, there's no faculty to give us motivation.
Faculty: Teaching quality was poor, faculty was not at all helpful and CRC never brought any core mechanical companies. This course do not make students ready for the industry. The atmosphere is not very much professional. Even the curriculum does not even match the Curriculum of the GATE.

Overall, I had a satisfying experience.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students got an internship. As far as placements are concerned, they have a lot of companies visiting our campus in for recruitment. But the core companies for the mechanical domain are very less. However, still, a lot of opportunities are provided as they have their placement cell. It connects the students as well as the companies, which are recruiting. Almost all the students got placed. The highest salary package offered during for our batch was around 12-13 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel provided in our college is one of the best in terms of comforts. Moreover, they are well-spaced, and they clean the rooms daily. They even provide free laundry service. There are double sharing rooms for students to stay, and in one wing, three rooms are shared. They all have one common bathroom and toilet. The quality of food was not that much up to the mark. The lab should be improved with more machines fro mechanical students. Sports activities are well organised from time to time. They even have an annual sports meet where all the branches of Amity participate in Noida campus.
Faculty: The quality of faculty members should be improved. They were not that much qualified when we were doing our course. The course curriculum is nice and suitable, according to the departments. We even had opportunities to learn french and also behavioural science as a part of the subject.
Other: The college should organise more fests and events from time to time other than annual fest. They should improve the activity session during class teaching. They should also conduct activities to improve our creative thinking.

Review of Amity University, Gwalior.
Placements: The university has 85% placements record. The packages offered by the companies were from 3.7 to 27 Lacs per annum. The internships provided were also good. The stipend offered by few companies was Rs. 5,000-10,000. Companies choose candidates with the right skills.
Infrastructure: The campus atmosphere is very cosy and comfortable. It also has an anti-ragging department to help the students whosoever needed. It has various facilities like sports fields related to various games, different laboratories, medical facilities etc.
Faculty: The faculty team is all that matters. They are the most important persons of this university. They are very good at their work. All the faculty members are appointed based on their qualifications. Each teacher has a minimum qualification of post-graduation.

Amity is good only if you are capable and confident in your life.
Placements: Placements in our college depend on the students. If you work hard and have practical knowledge, some good companies will hire you. My suggestion is to look for practical knowledge first, then look at your CGPA and SGPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Amity University is excellent. Sometimes, Wi-fi has good speed, but sometimes, it doesn't work properly. The Wi-Fi facility will help you to search for some important stuff on the internet like meanings and other information when your internet is not working. Classrooms are air-tight, and they are in good condition. The library is good, and medical facilities are also good with a separate doctor on every block.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. Believing yourself is more important than believing your teacher. If you respect your teachers, then they will definitely help you.
Other: With a gap of two to three months, different types of activities like Sangathan, youth fest, freshers, farewell etc. are conducted in our college.

The best university in Madhya Pradesh.
Placements: The college has 85% placement record. Some students prepare for competitive exams also. The packages offered are from 6.45 Lacs per annum to 27.3 Lacs per annum. The internships provided are also good. The average stipend provided is Rs. 3000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, and it has a good atmosphere with the anti-ragging department. There are good labs, sports, medical facilities, and regular workshops for students. Students have a lot of practical experience because of friendly and well-maintained workshops.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified in their respective subjects and fields. They provide a good and friendly environment and help us with our problems related to our field. They pay attention to each and every student and help them to understand the topic well. Teachers prefer practical knowledge than theoretical.
