Great infrastructure but placements not up to expectations.

Placements: The placements were not up to expectations. The percentage of students placed was below expectations and the number of companies visiting this year is also very few. Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, roots analysis were amongst the few companies which visited our college. There were many internships. The highest stipend was 26,000, the lowest was 3,000 and the average was 5,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is absolutely stunning. You can see the mountains and absolutely pure weather there. The campus is surrounded by clouds. The hostels and the kiosks are well-maintained. Wi-Fi availability is there and labs are well-equipped. The biotechnology labs are amongst the number 1 labs in the country, The library has many e-books, ample study material and everything else. Every sport and game is there in the college except for swimming. The food in the mess and canteen is good. Hostels are good with heaters installed but they work a few times only. There were no issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.

Faculty: The faculty team is highly learned and some of them are ex- faculty members from IITs too. They are helpful at all times. The teaching methodology includes PPTs and books. The faculty-student ratio is 1:18. The industry visit was great and the curriculum has courses which are really useful for our future.

Other: The exposure you will get here will be less than that of other Jaypee colleges. It will be preferred that you take admission in JIIT rather than in JUIT. The stay in the college will be pleasant and nice. Himachal is a beautiful place to stay. Extracurricular activities are plenty and you get many opportunities for the same.
