Annamalai University Chidambaram B.Ed Highlights 2025

B.Ed is a two-year programme which is offered in annual mode. Admission to the programme is made on the basis of past academic records of the candidates, followed by their performance in counselling round, conducted by the University. However, apart from fulfilling the eligibility criteria, candidates need to undergo 75 days of practice teaching/ internship in a government recognised Class 10 or Class 12 level school. The eligibility and more details of the course is given below:

Candidate must have completed BDS awarded by a University or Institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college. Candidate, who after passing BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI, is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training.

Review of Annamalai University.

Placements: In our college, almost 97% of students are placed in our course. The highest percentage is 93%. The lowest percentage is 57% and the average percentage is 75%. Almost 90% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has excellent facilities and infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs have a lot of instruments and lab equipment. Our classrooms are well-organised with clean chairs and benches. The library is good. Hotels, canteens, and medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The majority of teachers are university students. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult.

Other: This university has a high rating. Our college organises events and festivals. The campus crowd is good. The connectivity is good. The campus surroundings are pleasant. Scholarships are available for students. Many extracurricular activities are held.

Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: Most of the students will get placements after the course. There were around 45 members in our batch, and we all got placements. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Top recruiting colleges are MG and AIMS. Our college offers a B.Ed animation course and many more courses.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were all digitalised and Wi-Fi connections were well established all over the campus. The library was also an overwhelming area. The outdoor activities were well established and the hostel was of the master class. Due to the pandemic, I attended only 9 to 10 months of campus classes on that basis I can say it was fun. But there was a problem with the administration as whenever you visit the office they move you from one desk to other.

Faculty: Teaching quality was world-class and many professionals were helping in our curriculum activities. Semester exams were not much difficult, and the pass percentage was above 90%. I'm studying be mechanical engineering. I'm interested in learning practical concepts and interested in automobiles which make me to chose this department. The teaching of our faculty was out of the box. They helped us to understand the basics and why we are studying this helps us to innovate a lot in our field. The course curriculum was relevant with good concepts that make us job-ready.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in learning practical concepts and automobiles.
