Annamalai University BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Selection, Scholarships, Placements

Annamalai University BTech course admissions are facilitated via the TNEA counselling process. The applications for the test can be submitted online. Students should also fill out the course-specific application form available on the the university’s official website and proceed with the admission process. STEP 1: Annamalai University BTech Application Process 2025

The application process is the first step of the admission process. The application forms are made available on the official website of the university. Once that is done, they should click on the 'Apply Now' button and fill out the registration form. After that, log in to the student account and fill out the application form.

STEP 2: TNEA Counselling

Once the university-level form is submitted, apply for the TNEA counselling. It is conducted by Anna University.

STEP 3: Seat Confirmation

Once a seat is allocated, the student against that seat must complete the verification process. After that, they must submit the fees prescribed by the university.

Candidates pursuing a BE degree from Annamalai University can avail of government scholarships. To avail AU BE scholarships, candidates need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university. Given below are the different types of Annamalai University scholarships:

1. First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession: Under this scheme, the government of Tamil Nadu will grant tuition fee concessions to candidates who will become the first graduate in a family. From the year 2013-14 onwards, the tuition fee concession for first graduates has also been extended to the students of Annamalai University.
2. Post Matric Scholarship: Under this category, the government has ordered to grant of Post Matric Scholarship to SC/SCA/ST candidates whose parental annual income is less than INR 2.50 lakh per annum and to SC/SCA converted Christians whose parental annual income is less than INR 2 lakh per annum.
3. Higher Education Special Scholarship: This scholarship is only eligible for hostel students belonging to SC/SCA/ST and converted Christian categories, whose annual income from all sources should not exceed more than INR 2.50 lakh per annum.
4. BC/MBC/DNC Categories Scholarship: This is valid for students belonging to BC/MBC/DNC categories whose parent’s income from all sources is not more than INR 2 lakh per annum.
