Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Chennai Hosts Tantrotsav 4.0, Advancing Innovation and Future-Ready Engineering Excellence
March 3, 2026: The Chennai campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham successfully hosted the fourth edition of Tantrotsav, its national-level technology festival, bringing together aspiring engineers, innovators, and industry leaders for a three-day celebration of innovation, research, and collaborative problem-solving.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Sampoogya Swami Vinayamritananda Puri Ji, Administrative Director, Chennai Campus. The festival was formally inaugurated in the presence of I. B. Manikantan, Campus Director, and Dr. V. Jayakumar, Principal, Amrita School of Engineering and Computing – Chennai Campus, who highlighted the institution’s vision of technology-driven education and holistic development.
The Chief Guest, Priya R., Chief Operating Officer of Siddhan Intelligence Private Limited, delivered the keynote address. She spoke about the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping future careers and encouraged students to build strong competencies in emerging technologies, while commending Amrita’s growing global presence in research and innovation.
Complementing the technical engagements, cultural performances, including a live band and musical night, added vibrancy to the campus experience. Prizes worth approximately ₹10 lakh were awarded across competitions, recognizing excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
