Amrita BTech Applications 2026: Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has released the Amrita BTech admission forms 2026. Amrita BTech admission form can also be filled by candidates who will have JEE Main 2026 scores. Other than that, BTech admission in Amrita will be based on AEEE 2026 marks.
Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) is conducted by Amrita at the national level in CBT mode in two phases. Candidates can apply for both phases or any one phase, just like the JEE Main exam. The Amrita BTech admission form has to be filled with AEEE marks or JEE Main 2026 marks, or both. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores, and the rest of 30% are filled based on JEE Main ranks.

The important dates regarding the Amrita BTech application form are as follows:

Note that BTech admission in Amrita is offered across its eight campuses. The admission form for all these campuses is common; the link for which will be given below.
Candidates have to fill out the form with AEEE 2026 marks / JEE Main 2026 marks or both. After the AEEE exam is held, Amrita will conduct a centralised seat allotment process (CSAP). When CSAP starts, candidates will be able to enter their preferred BTech course and Amrita campus for admission. The seat will be allotted to the candidates based on their score in the entrance exams (JEE/AEEE).

Amrita BTech Application Fee 2026
To apply for Amrita BTech admissions at any Amrita campus (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, Haridwar), candidates have to fill a common form. Candidates can either apply via AEEE 2026, JEE Mains, or a combination of both. For candidates who opt for both admission routes, the selection criteria will prioritise the higher score achieved from either examination for admission.
The application fee is as follows:
- AEEE Only: INR 1300
- AEEE + JEE: INR 1300
- JEE Alone: INR 500
Eligibility for Amrita Btech Admission 2026
The eligibility for admission to BTech courses at Amrita includes:
- Pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognised board.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate of marks in the subjects of Maths, Physics and Chemistry and not less than 55% in each of these three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
How to Fill Amrita BTech Application Form 2026

Step 1: Register
- Candidates have to visit the portal - aeee.amrita.edu and register with their name, mobile number, email, state and city.
- Once the details are filled, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number entered for verification. Enter the OTP and verify the phone number.
- After verification, candidates can proceed to fill in the application form.
Step 2: Fill out the application form
The AEEE application form can be completed by filling out three parts of the form, which are:
- Filling out the personal information and uploading the photo & signature of the candidate.
- Filling out the contact details of parents/guardians
- Lastly, filling in the academic information of the candidate
Step 3: Select admission channel
- Next, candidates have to select the admission channel that is via AEEE or via JEE Mains or both.
- If AEEE is selected, then candidates have to enter 3 cities to take the exam in order of preference.
Step 4: Payment
- Candidates have to pay the applicable application fee in available online modes and complete the application process.

The selection process for BTech admission at Amrita includes the following steps:

BTech Course Offered at Various Amrita Campuses
The AEEE 2026 application form for phase 1 and phase 2 is out. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form, and more than one application, i.e. multiple applications from a candidate, may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used. The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application, i.e. acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence.
The AEEE 2026 application forms have been released on the official website, aeee.amrita.edu. The last date to apply for phase 1 exams is January 15. Candidates who will register for Phase 1 exams and wish to appear for Phase 2 exams too will not need to register again for Phase 2 again. However, such candidates have to pay INR 600 to appear for phase 2 exams.

Since the slots are not available, this means all slots have been booked. In this case, the next best option is to apply for next phase of AEEE exam, if available. AEEE slot booking is done in first come first serve basis. Therefore you must book the slots as soon as the slot booking window opens. Since other candidates are also simultaneously using the same slot booking portal, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes making his or her selection, and the slot chosen by the candidate may not be available. In such cases, the candidate will be prompted to choose another date and slot. Hence, if your slot is not available, you will have to simply select another one, or you might get allocated a different one.
