Amrita BTech Admission 2026: Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham is one of the best private universities preferred by many BTech aspirants each year. Amrita University BTech admission application form 2026 is now available online at amrita.edu.
Aspirants can apply for admission via JEE Main 2026 marks or based on the Amrita entrance exam - engineering (AEEE) 2026 marks. Amrita BTech admission is based on AEEE and JEE Main scores. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores, and the rest of 30% are filled based on JEE Main ranks. Candidates can choose to apply with scores of any one exam or both.
Amrita AEEE 2026 exam will be held twice - first phase from January 29 to February 1, and second phase from April 25 to 30.
10+2 passed candidates are eligible to apply for Amrita BTech admissions. Amrita offers BTech courses across its nine campuses. Candidates have to fill out a common application form to apply for BTech admission in any of these campuses.
After the AEEE exam, Amrita conducts a centralised seat allotment process (CSAP) to allocate seats to the candidates across its nine campuses. During the CSAP counselling, candidates can enter their preferred Amrita campus and BTech course for admission. Based on the candidates' JEE/AEEE scores, seats are allotted.

Amrita BTech Admission 2026 Selection Process

Amrita BTech Admission Process via AEEE 2026
Eligible candidates have to follow the following steps to apply for Amrita BTech admission 2026 via AEEE scores:
Apply for Amrita BTech admission 2026 via AEEE mode: Fill out the Amrita BTech 2026 application form and enter mode of admission as AEEE. Select the exam city preference in the application form. The exam is held in two phases; candidates can apply for both AEEE phases or any one of them, just like JEE Mains.
Book exam slot and download admit card: The registered candidates with AEEE admission mode have to book slot for the AEEE 2026 exam. The slot booking includes selecting the preferred exam date and time. After booking the slot, the AEEE 2026 admit card will be issued.
Appear for exam: Based on the date and time selected and as mentioned on the admit card, candidates have to appear for the exam. Check the AEEE 2026 exam pattern below:
- AEEE is held in computer-based test mode.
- The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.
- All the questions are of a Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
- 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.

Result declaration: Amrita announces the AEEE phase 1 and phase 2 results online on the official website. The result shows the ranks of the candidates in AEEE. Candidates who appear for both phases are allotted a seat in Amrita CSAP based on the best score out of both phases.
AEEE CSAP: The counselling process of Amrita BTech admission is called the Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Apply for Amrita BTech admission 2026 via JEE mode: Fill out the Amrita BTech 2026 application form and enter mode of admission as JEE Mains. Note that JEE Mains scores may be entered after the publication of the JEE Main results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application.
AEEE CSAP: The counselling process of Amrita BTech admission is called the Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Once the AEEE CSAP dates are announced, candidates have to register for the counselling process. After registration, candidates can enter their choice of BTech course and Amrita campus for admission. Based on their JEE Main ranks, seats will be allotted to the candidates.
Amrita BTech Application Form 2026
BTech admission in Amrita is offered across its nine campuses (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, Haridwar). The admission form for all these campuses is common. Candidates have to fill out the form with AEEE 2026 marks / JEE Main 2026 marks or both.
Applicants are required to complete a common form and indicate their preferred admission channel - either AEEE 2026, JEE Mains, or a combination of both. For candidates who opt for both admission routes, the selection criteria will prioritise the higher score achieved from either examination for admission.
The application fee is as follows:
- AEEE Only: INR 1200
- AEEE + JEE: INR 1200
- JEE Alone: INR 500
There is no such minimum marks criteria in AEEE. All the questions in AEEE are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers. Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Answers marked can be changed later, before the final submission of all the answers. 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.
111 marks could get you CSE branch only if you have the state quota, because students who have the state quota could get CSE with mere 105+ marks. Whereas if you don't have the state quota or you belong to the open category then its not possible for you to get into CSE. You need to have 145+ marks if you do not have the state quota.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - Amaravati Campus provides admission to various courses based on entrance exam or merit in the last qualifying exam. AEEE or Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam is a computer-based test conducted for admission to BTech and Integrated MSc. For MSc programme, the admission is based on performance in the qualifying exam followed by an interview round.
Admission for BTech courses at Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri is open for the academic batch 2025. Additionally, the eligible candidates can access the online AE application form on the official website. AEEE 2025 phase 1 exam will be held on February 1 and 2 in computer-based test mode across various centres in the nation. The registered candidates will be able to book the AEEE 2025 phase 1 exam date and time as per their preferences using the AEEE slot booking facility. The slot booking date will be announced later on the official website. After slot booking, candidates will be issued the AEEE 2025 admit card, mandatory to appear for the exam. Hence, qualified students can apply now for admission to BTech.
Currently, the last date to apply for AEEE 2026 phase 1 examination for admission to BTech at ASE Amritapuri is approaching i.e., Jan 15, 2026. Kindly note this is the last date for the phase-one examination of AEEE. The college conducts multiple phases for the AEEE 2026 exam for admission to BTech at Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri.

Official AEEE mock tests are free for all candidates. However, candidates have to register for AEEE mock tests on the official website. After registration, candidates can take the mock tests. Also, candidates can take JEE Main mock tests along with the AEEE mock test on the mock test portal.

Yes. A new section of 'Quantitative Aptitude' has been added to the AEEE syllabus. However, the syllabus for this section has not been mentioned by Amrita.

Candidates must have passed class 12 with 60 percent aggregate in PCM to be eligible for AEEE 2026. Individually, candidates must get atleast 50% score in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Candidates should be born on or after July 1, 2005.
