There are several hostels near B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology but very less PG's near college. In Urapakkam there were 5 to 6 PG's with wi-fi, AC and food facilities but the rent is too high. KPS women's hostel is situated near the college. PG's are available in Tambaram from where you need to travel 20 minutes to reach the college. By analyzing those scenarios we can conclude that those who prefer to study their graduate in crescent can chose to stay in the college hostel which provides good facilities and costs lesser than other PG's
B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology offers admission to some courses are merit-based. Further, for admission to some UG and PG courses college offers entrance-based admission. To be eligible for admission to UG courses candidates must have Class 12 and gradution degree for admission to PG courses, .
There are no entrance exam for the BSc course at Crescent University Chennai. BSc admission is entirely based on the class 12 exam. Candidates must have 50% aggregate with specialisation relevant subjects for admission. • Passed Class 12th from a valid state board/ CBSE/ ISC or equivalent board with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCM
• Must have a score in one among Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT 2024) or JEE (Main)
• Must have studied in regular, full time and formal education only
• Date of birth should fall on or after 1 July 2002
Those who don't have a JEE Main score can appear for the collee level CIEAT exam, secure a good score and get admission via that.
