Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech. First of all, the candidates must pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks of the total marks (mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in any stream. And secondly, candidates are required to appear in national-lavel entrance examination, for example JEE Main (mandatory for 2023 batch).

Generally, you can't get direct admission in Chitkara University for Engineering. You can go for CUCET for admission. Generally, our engineering students are free for three to four hours a day, Saturday and Sunday, but it varies from person to person, some students are studying daily, truely speaking 80% of students are studying only at the time of the exam.
