BA LLB at BHU is offered in full-time mode. The duration of course is five years. It is offered as a Honours integrated law programme offered by Faculty of Law. Admissions in BA LLB (Hons) are based on CUET-UG scores. It is compulsory for all students to appear for entrance exam to be eligible for a seat. BHU placements are good. The highest and average packages secured by MBA students in 2025 were INR 19.8 LPA and INR 10.1 LPA, respectively. Median salary stood at INR 9.2 LPA. The university has not yet released the placement data 2026 for other courses. During the placement drive 2025, a total of 177 placement drives were held, and more than 950 students were placed.

BHU B.A. LL.B.BHU BA LLB Fees 2026
The BHU BA LLB fee consists of different components. Some of them are paid only once and some are paid annually. The annual fee components include tuition fee, alumni activity fund, etc. Students can deposit the Banaras Hindu University fee online through the official university website. Students from other states can opt for hostels provided by university. The hostels are divided for each faculty. However, for faculty of law, only boys hostel is available. Allotment of hostel rooms are based on entrance merit of the applicant.
Students can also apply for fee refund in case of admission cancellation. Candidates have to fill an application form available online and attach required documents with it. STEP 1: Appear for CUET UG

STEP 2: BHU Counselling and Selection
After the entrance results are out, students have to register separately for BHU Combined Allotment Program (CAP-UG) on its official website. The university allots seats to students on the basis of cutoff and entrance merit. The counselling is conducted in multiple rounds. Mentioned below are the steps of counselling registration:

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

Banaras Hindu University can be reached via air, rail, or road transport. The airport the nearest to BHU is Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. It is around 30 KMs away from the campus.

No, direct admission is not possible in Babu Banaras Das University. Admission is based on entrance scores. The university accepts national-level entrance exams like CLAT for LLB, CAT/ MAT/ CMAT for MBA and JEE Main for BTech, etc. Merit is also accepted for BCom, BBA, BCA, etc.
