Review of Banasthali Vidyapith.

Placements: Around 70% of students are placed in the mechatronics branch. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Vedanta Group and Aditya Birla Group are the two major recruiters of our branch. Mostly students get placed for the position of GET.

Infrastructure: In this college, laboratories are rich, students have modern robotics laboratory, PLC, and SCADA. Students also have 3D printing laboratory. But there is no library in the department building. Wi-Fi is available at the hostel. Mess food is average. There is no sports and games facility at the hostel. Hostel rooms are also good.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and qualified, but not very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant but there is not much demand in the industry for mechatronics engineers, even if students get placed then they should get placed for mechanical engineer post. Semester exams are tough but still passing percentage is 100%.

Other: My interest lies in electronics as well as in modern mechanics like pneumatics and hydraulic system so, this branch is for me and students with the same area of interest.

Placements: Almost 100% placements are provided at Banasthali. The salary packages offered range from a mechatronics course are 3 LPA - 12 LPA. For CS and IT, the salary package offered is 3 LPA - 24 LPA. Top recruiters are Vedanta -Balco, Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, Hindalco, Aditya Birla, SSWL TCS, Colgate Palmolive, NBC, Goldman Sachs, etc. Almost 100% of the students got internships in the companies like NRSC-ISRO, CSIR (6-7 locations), CEERI Pilani, Advancetech Chandigarh, DRDO, Addverb Technologies, and many more.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi availability, air-conditioned labs, excellent infrastructure, and facilities. Hostel furniture is very good. Food quality in the mess is good and canteen has excellent ambience and food. Staff is very supportive and helpful. Classrooms are also good. Campus is surrounded by greenery.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They put all their time and effort into their students. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are neither difficult nor easy. A moderate question paper is set. The pass percentage is 4 CGPA.

Other: This course teaches about the future technology or upcoming used technology. If they include more projects it can make students master in their field. Events and fest are organised from time to time. Each festival is celebrated. Extracurricular activities are a compulsory part of the curriculum.
