B.A. in Mass Communication - Batch of 2027
4.2
Overall, a good college experience. I recommend this institution.
Placements: At Bennett University, around 90% of students pursuing a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication are placed. The highest package in our course is 15 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Media houses like India Today Group, Google, Amazon, HCL, NDTV, and others are the top recruiters. Around 60-70% of students in our course secure internships. The top roles offered in this course are news anchor, producer, social media manager, and there are various opportunities in public relations.
Infrastructure: At Bennett University, there are highly equipped classrooms with very good Wi-Fi, proper ventilation, and a huge library. We also have our radio labs, film studio, and Mac labs that are specially designed for media students. The university offers a variety of services. Rooms are typically twin-sharing and triple-sharing with air conditioning and common washrooms. There is a common mess that provides us with a decent meal every day, and we also have 24/7 medical care.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they are experienced professionals who also work in the industry, so they have very good knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant as it is not only focused on theoretical work but also prepares us for fieldwork. The difficulty of exams is moderate, and the passing percentage is 30%.
Other: I chose this course as it offers me a variety of job opportunities. In our society, where media plays a very important role, it is necessary to know how media professionals work. Many events happen here besides the annual fest, we have tech events and many more. The campus crowd is good, and people help each other.

Bennett - A vibrant campus life.
Placements: 90% of students were placed and among them, 10% got really good packages and good companies, it depends on CGPA. If you maintain more than 6 CGPA then you are most likely to get good companies or else average. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Times Now, MX Player, Radio Mirchi, Mediawire, and Zoom.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are top-notch. We have all the required things on campus like labs, pharmacy, wellness center, and library with all the reference books and normal books. The only thing I don't like is the Wi-Fi or the network, it sucks here. Only Vodafone sim might work well here. Hostel facilities are good but the drawback is that they only offer triple-sharing rooms which is sad because 2 roommates are allotted. I would say, the mess is much better as compared to other colleges in terms of taste and variety. Mess is like other mess only.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good not gonna lie. They are always there to help and are really intellectual. Their way of teaching is also fun. The main reason bought me to this college for media studies is the curriculum of the course. They have all the relevant and good topics in their curriculum. They have 60% practical class and 40% theory, which is really good and true. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage in my last semester was 98%.
Other: Best thing about this course as mentioned earlier is the curriculum & its practical way of teaching. The thing I wish would be better about my course is that they could teach the practical classes from 0, like you teach a kid but they don't. Campus life is the best thing, its lively no matter what time is it. Events and fests happen every other month. They offer really good extracurricular activities for all the sports. There are common rooms for girls and boys. We also have games inside it.

Absolutely the best. The faculty and placement services are amazing.
Placements: When our course batch started, 200 students enrolled. Out of them, 80% were placed in good and high-tech companies with a minimum package of 6 LPA. The highest package was around 17 LPA. The placements and tie-ups with companies were really fantastic.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college were great as they allowed students and teachers to enjoy the freedom, greenery, and nature. I would recommended students to study in this college because the education and life they experienced here were unmatched.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and knew the ins and outs of the industry. The courses were all relevant, and the passing percentage was 33%. The faculty shared insider knowledge with students to help them understand how the media industry actually works. They also provided valuable insights on how to make yourself stand out.
Other: I chose this course because my dream was always to appear on TV and speak to the world.

Satisfied with the faulty, good placements, and good infrastructure other than the hostel.
Placements: Bennett University does offer good placements in good companies like Zoom, Microsoft, India Today, etc. Around 70% of the students got a good placement, others with average ones. For the Journalism and Mass communication course, the 6th semester is only for internships. The university provides an internship to each student.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and libraries are great. These are projectors in each classroom for better learning. The Wi-Fi is below average, it is never stable. The Wi-Fi gets disconnected on its own so one has to connect to it every day. The hostel is below average too. The ceiling of the hostel rooms is not even painted and it's been like this for 5-6 years. The food quality at the mess is good. There are 4 food outlets on the campus in case one does not want to eat at the mess.
Faculty: The professors are extremely helpful and are ever ready to guide the students. They are quite qualified and knowledgeable. The students don't have to hesitate to get their doubts cleared. The course consists of 40% theory and 60% practicals, which helps students learn better.
Other: Students wanting to peruse journalism should go in for this course. Since it is a 60% practical course, there's a lot more exposure than a student gets in comparison to other colleges. They have a television studio and a radio studio.

You can opt for this university to start your career. It has good faculty and facilities.
Placements: Placement training is good, but the companies that come for placements aren't good enough. The salary packages provided are very less with the lowest salary package of 2.5 LPA to a maximum salary package of 4.2 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting company for our course is Adtomica. Internship opportunities are good here, almost all the students were given internships by the university from TOI, Mediawire, Adfactor, etc. But, opportunities in the field of reporting, anchoring are very less as compared the PR opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very well designed and looks brilliant. Hostel rooms are spacious with water facility, Wi-Fi, elevators but have a common washroom. The rooms are cleaned twice a week. Apart from this, the university has a library, big and well-built classrooms, a sports complex, practical labs, and a newsroom. The hostel food is the best thing and I have never seen any other university which makes such brilliant food. College also has eating outlets on campus. The medical facilities are fine not up to the mark. It's the same as any school or college, which gives Dolo for every illness.
Faculty: Bennett has the most helpful and highly qualified professors. They are always there for their students and help them out with almost everything. The course is well designed as per the need of present media houses and every aspect of mass communication is covered and students are made all-rounder in their field. It's a complete package and they make them industry-ready. Exams are mainly based on practical skills rather than theory. The teachings are implemented in daily life and not just in books. Almost 99.9% of the students pass the grade with excellence.
Other: I choose this course for two reasons, I was always keen to go into the field which requires public speaking. Second, I always wanted to sit in a newsroom and be an anchor. My passion brought me to Bennett University. I wish that the covid situation improves and students are back to campus, so that field trips can be resumed and we can learn from the industry professionals. The campus life is amazing, the events are organised almost once every two months. Students are kept engaged with educational activities and also fun. Though connectivity can be the issue as it's on the outskirts of Greater Noida, and cabs get canceled often and you need to travel to Pari chowk or Badkhal for shopping or outing.

It has an amazing infrastructure, good interactivity and knowledgeable faculty members.
Placements: Fewer students got placed in the 1st batch. The salary package offered is 10 LPA, but it is not offered to everyone. TOI and some small companies also hired students. Nearly all the students got an internship. Only beginner roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is amazing, and I would rate it 5 out of 5. It is equipped with all the facilities like Mac labs, Wi-Fi, libraries and everything. Food is good, and the mess, hostel and sports facilities are amazing. Medical facilities are the worst. I once got sick during exams, but medical was not given to me. I was unable to give exams, but they forced me to take the same.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and have lots of knowledge. They are kind and helpful. Everyone is either in from TOI or Indian Express, and some are great photographers and RJs. There is a lot to learn from all of them. Everything in the course is related to the industry. Every semester schedule is designed according to that.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in communication and also the Times Of India. The course should be more practical. We have a lot of events, fests and campus activities every week. The crowd is amazing, and I like this at our college.

Great faculty and curriculum along with adequate extra curricular activities.
Placements: Great placements for students that put effort. Internships are mandatory for second year students and the university's placement cell helps in securing the same. More information about packages and placements could be asked from the University's office.
Infrastructure: Hostel is cleaned regularly, washrooms are cleaned daily. Quality of food is good and is catered by Sodexo. Adequate medical facilities with on campus ambulance service. Facilities for football, basketball, swimming are available along with a clean gym.
Faculty: Teachers have years of on-field experience under their belt and help in learning concepts clearly. Curriculum is relevant and focuses specially on practical assignments for added exposure. The curriculum helps the student to understand what might interest them in the industry and guide them towards it.
Other: The best thing about my course is the in depth knowledge that teachers bring along with a 60/40 split between practical and rote learning respectively. The curriculum covers all necessary topics. Ample sports events and an amazing college fest. The college has multiple clubs that spread across various domains.

An Investment in Knowledge.
Placements: Since this college belongs to Times of India group, there's simply no fear of placements, but most of my senior students opted for higher studies rather than working with any firm. Rest some students who really wanted a job were placed in ANI (Asian News International) agency or Ad factors PR agency, etc.
Infrastructure: Well the university provides unlimited Wi-Fi, The labs are well-equipped. The campus is centralised air conditioned. The mess food is also good. Library Is one the best in the country. Also there are many centre of innovation like the Bennett hatchery, on- campus incubator which provides physical space, funding, training, mentoring and resources needed to start a project.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and experienced. Also they are always available for solving doubts or any queries. Plus the University has well planned mentorship programme where a student can approach his/her mentor for any help. 90% of faculty are Ph.Ds.
Other: I chose this course since I am good at public speaking and definitely aim to be a TV anchor in future. Well, I need not required to mention any suggestions for the University since it is the best and gives a chance for improvements.
