Good college campus and student life, but college placements are disappointing.
Placements: Placement is only for master's students, not bachelor's students. We heard that our master's students got placements, and if you ask any faculty, they will tell you they are working on it. There are no internships and no placements, so work hard and get yourself an internship during the semester break.
Infrastructure: The LAN connection in the hostel is decent, but sometimes it just does not work. However, you can complain and get it fixed. Mess food has improved a lot since the new tender, it's good, and the menu is decent. Gyms in the hostel lack equipment, and most of the equipment doesn't work. A few hostels have a TT room, dance room, etc. We have a basketball court and a badminton court, but they're usually empty. You do have a canteen inside the hostel, otherwise, for other things, you need to go to the complex.
Faculty: Faculty members are amazing and experienced in their respective industries; they are also helpful. The course curriculum is based on the UGC syllabus and is divided into six semesters. The college doesn't provide any internships, so if you want to get industry-ready, make use of the semester break. Semester examinations are not that hard, you can score well even if you study just one day before the exam, we have mid-semester examinations, so try to score as much as possible in them, as it will help you clear the end-semester examination easily. Also, make sure to submit your assignments and presentations for internal assessment, overall, you just need 40 marks out of 100 to clear the end-semester.
Other: We have something going on every now and then in the university, events like Motto GP, Khelo India, and the annual food fest Dawaat-e-GBU, etc.
