 This specialisation prepares students for diverse roles in the animation and VFX industry, including 3D Animator, VFX Artist, Motion Graphics Designer, Character Designer, AR/VR Specialist, and Game Designer. Students will immerse themselves in state-of-the-art labs, studios equipped with the latest animation and VFX software and hardware, complemented by real-life projects and internships that bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical application. Another notable key feature entails multiple exit options as per NEP 2020 for a student to exit after 4 semesters (2nd year) with a Diploma, after 6th semester (3rd year) with a 4-year B. Des (Hons.) co-branded (BU & CII) degree along with a mandatory internship comprising 4 credits each will be incorporated as per the UGC Credit Framework.

The Bachelor of Design – B. Des (Hons.) in Advanced Animation and VFX is a full-time, 4-year undergraduate program that integrates creative artistry with technical precision. This comprehensive specialization hones foundational animation techniques, visual storytelling, and digital artistry while offering advanced electives aligned with industry trends and emerging technologies. It covers Graphic Design, 3D Modelling and Animation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and advanced Visual Effects (VFX), ensuring holistic mastery of creative design and VFX techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk Maya, Foundry Nuke, Runway AI, and PFTrack, preparing them for real-world challenges in the creative industry. The curriculum includes modules on Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and advanced VFX techniques such as camera tracking, node-based compositing, and colour grading, making the course future-ready.

Bennett University inks MoU with S.P. Jain Group for Global Academic Pathways

July 14, 2025: Bennett University, The Times Group’s higher education institution, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with  S.P. Jain Group in Mumbai on July 10, 2025. This collaboration aims to create international academic pathways for undergraduate students, providing them with unparalleled global learning experiences. As part of this collaboration, students will now have the opportunity to pursue international academic pathways through structured 2+2 and 3+1 degree programs. Under the 2+2 model, students will study the first two years at Bennett University and then complete the final two years at S.P. Jain Group’s campuses in London or Sydney. Similarly, the 3+1 model allows students to complete three years at Bennett and then either finish their undergraduate studies or transition into a master’s program at S.P. Jain Group, based on the pathway in effect.

Bennett University Inks MoU With Grant Thornton Bharat For Professional And Academic Excellence

December 17, 2021: With the world's largest youthful working population, India has been active in upgrading student skills to global standards by involving many companies, allowing for innovation and the creation of market-ready experts. University Launches BA Liberal Arts Programme

July 3, 2020: Looking at the growing demand for Liberal Arts education among Indian students, Bennett University has announced the launch of BA Liberal Arts programme from the academic year 2020.

The three-year programme will help students to learn at their own pace and will also give them space to determine which courses they want to pursue. Students will also have the option to spend one more year in the institute and earn a post-graduate degree in the selected course. It is intended to offer students a holistic development, which aims at developing skills, improves prospects and prepares them to face daily challenges in a balanced and responsible way.

A core aspect of the curriculum is that at the time of enrollment the students do not need to choose their major subject. Rather, they have the option to explore their area of interest in the first year and it is only in the second year when they get to choose their major subjects. The major subjects include Psychology, Philosophy, Business Studies, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising & Public Relations, Economics, Political Science, English Literature and Finance.

Students are made to study wide range of foundation courses in the first year to strengthen their knowledge and build all-round skills such as oral and writing skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills. The programme is not limited to classroom learnings; students will also be awarded credits for playing physical sports and going to the gym.

University Invites Application for MBA Program 2020-21 with upto 100% Scholarships

January 27, 2020: The School of Management, Bennett University, is inviting application for MBA Program for 2020-21 batch. The programme is designed with an aim to develop professional, leadership and entrepreneurship skills with strong foundation of fundamental skills among students so they are ready to face corporate world tomorrow. As a part of admission process, applicants have to undergo a qualifying exam such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT, MAT and CMAT. Basis the score and interview with management, the admissions will be confirmed. The University is also offering scholarships upto 100 per cent based on the scores of national-level test. And an additional scholarship of five per cent will be offered to students with prior two years of work experience. The University is well known for its corporate connect. Top recruiters such as LG, Bata, Colgate, Yes Bank, ITC, HDFC and Huawei participate actively in the placement season.

University Invites Registration for ‘Mini Marathon’

January 14, 2020: In association with Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), Bennett University is organising a Mini Marathon on January 19. The University invited registration from people of all age groups for this event. Registrations can be done online on University’s website. There will be two-categories for the marathon:

  • Open Elite: A 10-km run open to all male and female candidates, and
  • Senior Citizen, 4-km run open to people above 50 years of age.

The idea is to create awareness among people about the importance of health and fitness. Exciting prizes will be given to winners in each category and coupons to all participants who complete the run.

Bennett University Receives Internship Applications for AI Projects

December 13, 2019: Bennett University has set up Leadingindia.ai-an Artificial Intelligence (AI) skilling platform in association with AICTE and other organisations. The idea is to give students practical exposure in the form of internships and live projects. Over 450 applications were received in 2019 for winter internships among which 150 were from Tier-I B-schools. The internships include regular hackathon-capable mentors and ongoing assessments and are also enabled by NVIDIA DGX V 100 supercomputing center at the University of Bennett.

University Organises Shikhar-Conclave for Small Businesses

December 6, 2019: Bennett University invited over 50 MSME owners for an interactive session with students to discuss the technical, business and other challenges faced by them in the practical environment. About 29 per cent of India’s GDP is the contribution by MSME sector who have offered employment of over 11 crore people. Policy initiatives and incentive schemes developed by government to support this industry were also a part of discussion. It will play a key role in achieving the dream of India’s $5 trillion economy by 2025.

Bennett University has all the required facilities that make it a great place for study.

Placements: Above 50% of students are placed in my course this year. The highest package is 32 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. Top recruiters are Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, and Scale. Around 20–30% of students get internships in Scale and Fidelity. Top roles offered are SDE and frontend developer.

Placements: Good placements, students get an internship in the course through a site that has been provided to us. We apply for jobs through the site. Every day, new opportunities are published there, and we apply according to our interests. We also have an internship and placement committee that helps us with enhancing our profiles and securing internships/jobs.

The college has the potential, but is not doing anything about it.

I am absolutely satisfied with Bennett University.

Placements: Placements in Bennett University are quite good because in my course most of the students get placed in decent places, but most placements are off-campus placements and they are with a high annual package. This year, the highest package is 53 LPA, and the lowest package is not publicly given by the university.
