College is very good, with good teachers, but avoid the hostel.
Placements: The placement data shows 95% or even 100% placements, but that is just a cover-up. Most students are recruited by mass recruiters. I am fairly positive that most are getting Rs. 15,000–Rs. 20,000 per month in cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad, so it is quite a struggle for them.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are not good. They ignore the hostels very much. The course infrastructure is fairly decent. The main issue with the hostel is the management. Before 2022, the management was very good, but now the new management mainly focuses on saving money by reducing quality in many areas.
Faculty: There are good faculty members here. Most of them have PhDs and are well-renowned in their field of expertise. However, some teachers here are highly unprofessional because of their cultural positions. They think they can even insult our parents. They are absolutely horrible in terms of management.
Other: The annual fest and the annual sports fest are very good.

Overall, the infrastructure is good, clean, and spacious, and is a good choice.
Placements: Around 60-70% students get placed. The average package range between 3-4 LPA, while the highest packages go up to 6-8 LPA in recent batches. Top recruiters include local pharmacies, diagnostic labs, food testing labs, and research labs for trainee and lab assistant roles.
Infrastructure: The college has basic biotech laboratories, classrooms, a library, and Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys. A total of 3 buildings are there for hostels, with a proper warden taking care of everything. The food in the hostel is average, and maybe oily, but hygienic and clean. Rooms are decent, one cot, one table, and one chair are given, and rooms of four are only available.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and explain concepts clearly. They are cooperative and friendly in class. The syllabus is UGC based and suitable for higher studies. Exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is also good, like 70 to 80%. They have a lab curriculum that does make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose Biotechnology because I am interested in Biology and laboratory work. This course gives knowledge of life science and helps in higher studies, research, and health care-related careers. More industry exposure, advanced lab equipment, and regular internships should be provided. They do Trifest once a year, there should be more events for biotech students other than studies.

It is a decent college for the B.Sc in biotechnology course with good basics.
Placements: Placements at Trident Academy of Creative Technology are decent and improving every year. Around 60-70 percent of students from technical and creative courses get placed depending on skills and specialisation. Internship opportunities are also provided to help students gain industry exposure.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of TACT is good and student-friendly. But not all classrooms are modern. It has computer labs, a library, a seminar hall, and practical labs. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Rooms are clean. Mess food quality is average.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified, helpful, and supportive, especially in practical subjects. Faculty members provide guidance to students for projects and internships. Teaching quality is good but varies from subject to subject. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and can be cleared easily with regular study.

A balanced college experience with good academics and decent exposure.
Placements: In my batch, around 60-70% got placed, with the maximum package being 6 LPA and the least being 1.5 LPA. Pharma companies, diagnostic labs, and companies like Biocon were the recruiting companies. Top roles like lab technologist, QC analyst, and research assistant were offered in the last few years.
Infrastructure: We have well-equipped laboratories, decent classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, and hostel facilities are satisfactory with regular water and electricity supply. The food is average, and medical facilities are available. Sports activities are available both indoors and outdoors.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The curriculum covers areas of biotech, and the semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is around 85-90%, and internal assessments help reduce academic pressure.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in life sciences and biotechnology. The crowd is decent, and once a year, an event happens. The rest of the surroundings and extracurricular activities are just fine.

College is the best because of faculty and the worst because of politics.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed. The highest package is 5 LPA and the lowest is 1 LPA. Fertilizer and agro-based companies are recruiting. Top roles are in banking, law, and civil services. Agriculture is a developing sector in India, so there is much scope in which you can go into and enjoy the future.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good with infrastructure and excellent teachers. You'll love learning. Wi-Fi is also available in labs with equipment. You are free to use and rest all the equipment, although for some practical reasons, they ask us to get our equipment at our own expense.
Faculty: As I said, the teachers are very good at their work and you'll enjoy learning. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are passionate about teaching. The course curriculum is also relevant. Although you have to be industry-ready by yourself, with the teacher's guidance.
Other: Fests are yearly organized and the campus is happening.

Placements: Our college is good for placements in B.Tech and for M.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. It has higher chances of getting into a good college for a PhD. In placements, many students get placements. The average package offered is 9 LPA, and the highest package offered is 32 LPA. The lowest package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is good. There are a huge number of books for all categories, and we get free books in the library. Classrooms are good, and in some classrooms, there are centralised ACs. Labs are good and have good equipment. Hostels are good, but there is a shortage of hostels. Only 2 hostels are there for boys, and 2 for girls. The food is not good in hostels.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and friendly. The course curriculum is designed according to higher exams. Exams are good. If we write correctly, then we will get good marks. With less effort, we get good marks. The pass mark for exams is 36 out of 100. There are two parts in exams, i.e., internal and end-semester exams.
Other: 2 types of fests are held in our college, i.e., technical fest and the cultural fest named Xtasy. We have an annual sports meet named Engineers Cup. All colleges from Odisha come here to participate in it. There are a lot of people who study here and have a great experience.

However, as per Shiksha review, the the highest and the lowest package offered was INR 10 LPA and INR 6 LPA during the BPUT recent placement drive, respectively.
