BPUT BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BPUT BTech is a four-year course offered in a full-time mode. The undegraduate course is offered in multiple specialisations including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and more.
BTech admission is done as per Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE)) guidelines. Further, candidates must clear the OJEE cutoff, to become eligible for the counseling rounds. Candidates need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the BPUT authorities. The qualified candidates are then invited for a GD and PI round, after which, the merit list of selected candidates is disclosed and the students are allotted with respective colleges according to the merit.
After completing your 3 year Diploma in the same branch from State Council of Technical Education and Training, Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute/ from a recognised University then you can get enrolled in B.Tech Lateral Entry courses directly in the 2nd year through OJEE exam and counselling.
The OJEE exam 2026 exam was held from May 4, 2026, to May 10, 2026. Special OJEE will be conducted from July 13 to July 15.
