Ground Reailty of STAR (Affiliated by BPUT).

Faculty: The faculty here is sufficiently experienced to teach B.Tech students, and most of the teachers use the native language to teach their respective subjects. The course here gets updated every year according to BPUT, and it kind of makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit easy, and the pass percentage is about 77% to 80%.

A balanced college experience with good academics and decent exposure.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The curriculum covers areas of biotech, and the semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is around 85-90%, and internal assessments help reduce academic pressure.

We get to experience a campus designed to support innovation, learning, and holistic growth.

Faculty: Teachers are amazing and qualified. Their behaviour towards students is also good. Most of the teachers are PhD holders. The course curriculum is relevant, and due to AI and other technological advancements, it is going to be relevant. Exams are always difficult, but we have to study consistently to pass. Around 90 percent of students pass the semester exams.

Why is the IGIT very important to the localites?

Faculty: All the lecturers here are very well qualified in their own field. The teaching quality of all is very simple and understandable. The course gets upgraded every year, so there is no relevance in that sector. It makes most of the students very industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult, but if you study throughout the year, then it will be another simple task for you.

No, there is no placement.

Faculty: Exams can be conducted smoothly. The teachers are good in this college, they will provide proper knowledge about how to develop your career they will guide. Office stamps are not good, the process of work is slow, and they do not solve your query or provide help.

The affordable college for the locals of Berhampur for a general degree.

Faculty: The teachers were okay, but not so experienced. The curriculum was not so relevant, most of the topics were outdated. The teaching quality of teachers was hit or miss. The semester exams were quite easy, and most of the questions came from the teacher's notes. The pass percentage was above 85% in the campus.

Strong CSE, decent placements, average mess.

Faculty: Most teachers in CSE are helpful, well-qualified, and have good subject knowledge and experience. The only issue was the accent of a few teachers, which made it hard to interpret what they were trying to say. The curriculum is broadly relevant and focuses on practical and industry-oriented skills, so it does help in making students industry-ready, though it feels like some subjects could be more updated. Semester exams are usually moderate to strict, with some twisted questions, but with regular...

IGIT Sarang - Honest opinion.

Faculty: Teachers help a lot in understanding subjects. Also, they provide guidance on how the topics are used for questioning and give direction to read, so you don't waste time reading everything. The semester exams are well designed, in which you would have to score 30+ out of 60.
