Placements: Overall, the college offers a good return on investment in terms of placement statistics. You can get some of the best placements in this college compared to other state government colleges. However, do not expect placements like those at NITs or IITs. The placement opportunities are far below that level. The median package is around 6–7 LPA, with more IT companies visiting the campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are not up to the mark yet. There are two girls' hostels, two old boys' hostels, and one very new boys' hostel. However, there is still a shortage of hostel accommodation for boys. Many male students have to face a lot of problems while staying outside the campus in rented homes, PGs, or mess facilities.
Faculty: The teaching methodology and curriculum are very old and not up to the mark. They are also not relevant to the industry. However, the student communities are active and somehow compensate for these problems. This is not a private college where faculty members are concerned about students' growth. Therefore, you have to make your own efforts.

Good enough to learn, that's all.
Placements: To be very honest, you cannot fully trust the placement cell, as very few companies come to the college. But faculty members are awesome. You'll learn everything quickly, and you'll have fun there. But for placements, you have to develop your skills and try for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is kind of good, as they have a proper management team for it. It all comes under Sambalpur University, so you can rely on the course. Regarding the hostel, the boys' hostel is not on campus. It is around 4 km away from the campus, so it is not so good.
Faculty: The exam arrangements are actually quite good, as they prepare a great environment for exams so that no cheating happens. They also ask some logical questions in the papers. Faculty members are quite good, as some of them make us understand things very easily.
Other: I chose this course because this is a local college, and I had to do BCA, so I chose it. The best thing about my course is that it is not so easy to understand. I wish I could do better in my course. There are no fests, just some local events.

Placements: To be very honest, out of 10, only 5 get selected and the rest are left out. Placement training is good, but not that up to the mark. Try to do internships from various industries that can help you in interviews and placements, and focus on your behavior, the college won't teach you that.
Infrastructure: Infrasture is very bad, to be honest. They just take money, but there are no good buildings, and the food is just terrible. I suggest that if people want to stay in the hostel, it would be far better to stay in PGs near the college. Try to take rooms nearby so that the commute would be zero and you can save money if you stay here.
Faculty: The worst teachers. They just linger around girls and ignore boys. The teachers try to make you understand, but you can't understand any bit because they just want to end the course whether you understand or not. Please also try to take subscriptions to OTT platforms.
Other: Students are good, but not that friendly.

Considering everything, I would say this college is average.
Placements: This college doesn't really attract campus placements. If companies do come, it is very rare, and I haven't heard of anyone actually getting placed through the college. The college doesn't offer internships either. If you want to do an internship, you'll have to find a company yourself.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and library of this college are average. The hostel is decent, too, and the hostel food isn't all that bad. However, it would be better if the food were improved a bit. There is a field for playing games, where students play cricket, football, and badminton.
Faculty: Speaking of this college, there are some excellent teachers with amazing teaching skills. Time simply flies during their classes. They take students on industrial visits two to three times, specifically to places where they have been selected. Around 80–90% of students pass at this college.
Other: I chose this course because I like it. In this course, you learn about the construction and design of roads, buildings, bridges, drainage systems, etc. Various events take place at this college, and students participate in the ones that interest them. The annual sports event takes place here every year. Students also receive good scholarships.

Placements: Placements are like average in our college, but as compared to the IT branch, core branch students get a lot more offers. Overall, about 70 to 80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA, and the lowest goes to 2.8 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6LPA. Companies like TCS, Aditya Birla, Tata Power, Jindal Steel, Spikewell, etc., visit the campus. Students get nice internship opportunities because the alumni network is strongly working in organisations like HAL, DRDO, CSIR, ONGC, etc. Mainly junior engineer trainee roles are more often in our course.
Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi network throughout the campus area. There are labs also for every branch or every skill to learn. It has its own central library, which is open from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM. The quality of mess food is pretty good as compared to other colleges in Odisha at this price, the quality is very good. SUM Hospital is available just outside the campus. Students from our college get free registration and doctor consultation at SUM Hospital. Talking about sports and games, every year we conduct Arena, which is a grand sports event for every sport.
Faculty: Every faculty member here has a Ph.D. degree from IITs. Faculty members are pretty much friendly as they are very young. This college provides placements talk in 4th every week, in which the college improves the aptitude, reasoning, coding, and overall personality of every student. The exams are not that hard. They are pretty easy to clear, as the questions repeat every year.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because I want to go into software, but in my 12th, I got my eyes on the power system and power distribution, which attracts me a lot, so choosing this branch gives me both the options to explore. The course is pretty vast, as you will study core electrical concepts like KVL, KLC, etc. Talking about events, this college has two to three events per year, like Arena for sports, Exordium for freshers' inauguration, Robomania for robo race, and hackathons. The events include one grand event called Exuberance, where there is a DJ night, celebrity night, ethnic night, etc. The connectivity is also average because the main town is like 10 km from the college, but there are always buses and autos. It has a separate scholarship section where 80% of students get scholarships.

Things to know about C. V. Raman Global University.
Placements: I don't have much idea about placements because I am in my second year, but from what I have heard from my seniors, the placement rate is around 70–75%. The average package is about 5–6 LPA. TCS and Accenture are the top recruiting companies. Placements are average, so don't expect too much from the college. If you want to take admission to this college, feel free to do so, but keep one thing in mind, you have to hustle on your own.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are all fine. Labs are good, the classrooms are clean, and the library has plenty of academic books. Everything is good. You can enjoy Wi-Fi, work in labs, and study in clean and peaceful classrooms and the library. So, there is no need to worry about these facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach very well here. However, to become industry-ready, you have to explore opportunities on your own. Teachers can only guide and help you. Semester exams are not that difficult. You can get good marks if you start studying one month before the exams.
Other: I had a strong interest in computer science and technology, so I chose this course. You can learn many things about the industry, but you have to hustle. I wish the number of assignments given to students could be reduced a little. Events and fests are amazing.
