Brainware University Barasat offers multiple scholarships to eligible postgraduate, undergraduate, and various other course students. Scholarships are meant to help students who can't afford education to continue studying at a college without any trouble or hindrance. Some of the scholarships awarded to students are mentioned in the table given below:

The below-mentioned is detailed information on the Brainware University Barasat scholarships:

• Merit Scholarship Brainware University 2024-2025

(A) Brainware Academic Excellence Scholarship (Brainware Vidyalankar)

• Students scoring 95% marks or more in qualifying examinations can have their tuition fees fully waived
• Students with 90% but less than 95% marks in qualifying examinations can have their tuition fees half waived

Note: Toppers from an institution with less than 90% get an additional INR 25,000 off over and above the Brainware Merit Scholarship

The above-mentioned scholarships are not valid for MPharm, BPharm, DPharm, BSc Nursing, GNM programme students, and international students. 

(B) Brainware Merit Scholarship (Brainware Medha Britti)

• West Bengal Minorities' Development & Finance Corporation

WBMDFC Scholarship 2024-2025 Scheme was initiated by The West Bengal Government to support minorities and the Economically Weaker Sector of Society. The students interested and eligible for this scholarship must submit the following documents:

• Aadhar card
• Bank account details
• Photograph
• Date of birth proof
• Fee receipt of current course year
• Institution verification form
• Self income proof/ family income proof
• Previous qualification mark sheet
• Residential certificate
• Domicile certificate

The below-mentioned is the eligibility criteria for this scholarship:

• West Bengal students who are applying for the Pre-Matric Scholarship must have a family income of less than INR 2 lakh and must have scored a minimum of 50% in their previous academic examinations
• Students applying for this scholarship must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in their previous classes
• Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Scholarship requires a student to complete their UG and it should be from West Bengal. In addition to this, the student’s parent’s income should be less than INR 2.5 lakh

• Kanyashree Prakalpa (K1, K2)

Kanyashree Prakalpa is a Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Scheme that concentrates on girls currently most at risk for dropping out of school and for child marriage: adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18. The CCT component of this scheme is greatly supported by a multipronged communication strategy which is known to address the key stakeholders' practices and attitudes towards female adolescents in communities and families and other key stakeholders from state level to institution levels. This schemes' impact is further strengthened by the introduction of the Kanyashree Plus Scheme. 

Launched on October 1, 2013, Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme is greatly applicable to the State of West Bengal only. The girls must be residents of the state, and be studying in colleges that are registered in West Bengal and recognised by the government of India.
