It has a good learning environment, supportive faculty, and practical exposure in nutrition studies.

Placements: 60-70 percent of students get placed. The package offered ranges from 3-3.8 LPA. 60-70 percent of students from the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics course get internship opportunities. Students usually get internships in hospitals, health clinics, NGOs, and food companies such as Apollo Hospitals, AMRI Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, and local diet clinics or nutrition centers. Roles like clinical dietitian, nutritionist, diet consultant, food quality analyst, public health nutritionist, and diet counselor are offered here.

Infrastructure: Labs are available as per the subject, and they are good. The university also has a large digital library with many textbooks, reference books, and national and international journals, which helps students with assignments and research work. I don't stay in the hostel, so I don't know much about it. My friends stay there, so they say it is amazing. There is always safety there.

Faculty: Professors are very supportive. They teach us every topic again and again till we understand that. The course curriculum is relevant and amazing. Semester exams in my college are moderately difficult. If we study regularly and attend classes, then exams are manageable. The pass percentage is usually around 85–90 percent, so most students pass without much difficulty.

Other: I chose the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics course because I have always been interested in health, food, and how nutrition affects our body and lifestyle. With the increasing awareness about healthy living, lifestyle diseases, and balanced diets, I felt this field has both social importance and good career opportunities. The campus of Brainware University has a friendly and diverse crowd where students from different departments interact and collaborate. The university organises various cultural events, fests, and academic seminars, which make campus life enjoyable and engaging.

Good faculty members, and the campus surrounding is silent with good placement.

Placements: As I'm new in this college and I'm in 1st year, I have also researched these things and I came to know that many big companies like Cognizant, TCS, Concentrix, and many more companies are connected to this college, and they come for interviews every year.

Infrastructure: In our department, there are 65 students in 1st semester. There is a lab for Human Physiology practicals and a big library from where we can get many books that we can't afford. The canteen is also affordable, and the food is very fresh in the canteen.

Faculty: All the professors in our department are good, and some are very helpful. They help us to understand the concept so that we don't have to memorize the answers for the exam and we can write them on our own. There are 2 exams before the semester, which are class tests 1 & 2, and assignments are also there along with presentations.

Other: In this course, we have subjects like Human Physiology, Psychology, English, Environmental Studies, Soft Skills, and Yoga. I love to understand the human body, and the practicals which have been done I love to do. There are many events that take place in this department.
