Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2028

The college is low to mid at best, get good placements only if you work hard off-campus.
Placements: 30 percent of students got placed. You need to maintain CGPA and attendance that is the criteria in every college. 9 LPA is the highest package this year. Paytm is the top company. For an internship you have to go ask the placement cell and you will get an internship in the 2nd semeter of 2nd year. Sales role is offered for our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average for a management student building. Seats are okay, no AC, lifts are also banned for use. No Wi-Fi is available. The library has AC, you can go in at lunch but can't roam around in the college after or before it like school. Washrooms low-mid. There are no smart boards. There are canteens. Food is okay. There are no medical facilities. Only volleyball is encouraged, but no sports like football, cricket, badminton, etc. Low sports facilities in college. Although for kho-kho and volleyball they take students to competitions, for the library you can't ask for books, you have to have course books.
Faculty: Teachers are a bag of mixed beans, apparently. Bad experience for management most of the teachers are not even Ph.D. holders. The quality of IIMT teachers has declined. The course only focuses on the teaching syllabus but not other things like presentations, group projects, and field trips, which are also very rare. Some teachers are good enough to guide students and take personal initiative to do so. The college does nothing for management students, also there are personality development classes. I was left baffled when the teacher told us to write an email in a notebook. Semester exams are easy.
Other: College can improve on many things, like extracurricular activities. Actual skill-building for students. The computer teacher is good but students are not interested in learning also, the software is outdated. AC and whiteboards can be installed too. They do provide opportunities like research papers, student council, and other things, but it is not proactive. I think the crowd is also not good. The students are not proactive and there is very little competition. Fest is okay. Celebrities like Jahnvi Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra, and Shehnaaz Gill also come here. The college does not even provide refreshments for students.

Review of Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT).
Placements: This college did not provide very good placement opportunities. Most of the students preferred off-campus placements and tried to get good jobs. Our department had not yet developed much in terms of placements. If any company came, then it depended on the students' skills and performance. But I would not choose this college for placements. Infosys, Wipro, and TCS visited the college. The job roles offered by our course required learning CSE subjects.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were actually good. The decoration was also good. The infrastructure was well-designed and organized. The services and facilities of this college were also good. Hostel rooms were actually good, with gym facilities. This made it the best for me and my body. The mess food was acceptable. Sports facilities were available here, like badminton courts, cricket, basketball, etc. Medical facilities were also decent.
Faculty: Faculty members were well-educated. Their teaching quality was very good. They explained every topic in an understandable way, which made them good faculty members. They always focused on us and improved our performance. They were very helpful to us. Exams were conducted from time to time in our college to improve student performance and theoretical skills.

A decent college if you do not perform well in the entrance exam.
Placements: Decent placement if you work hard and all placement and orientation programmes happen and placements from all companies come here. The average package of the B.Tech CSE students is 5 LPA-6 LPA. The highest is 27 LPA and it is situated at a top-notch location.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available like Wi-Fi, laundry, well-cleaned rooms, and all safety measures for students. The food quality is average. All sports facilities are available. There is weekly cleaning of the room. All labs are well maintained.
Faculty: In college, some teachers are top-notch. They are doing a PhD. The teaching style is average but they teach from the basics. The curriculum is AKTU-based, so you are forced to focus more on studies as well. All staff behaviour is polite if you behave well with them.

Absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: 60–70 percent of students at my college get a good number of placement offers. Our college has a separate recruitment cell for the placement of students, as well as a student committee for the same. In our college, we get a good number of opportunities for internships. For example, internships under AOR, Supreme Court judges, and law firms.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have Wi-Fi, a forensic lab, and a certificate course in forensic science. We also have classrooms with air conditioning, smart boards, and projectors. Our college also has two big libraries with two big reading rooms as well. The hostel for girls is also pretty good. There are three hostels for girls. Two on-campus and one off-campus are available.
Faculty: Professors in our college are highly qualified, approachable, and very helpful in every aspect. The semester exams are not so hard. The semester exams contain basic legal questions. The question paper contains three sections. You have to attempt 3 questions out of 5 from the 20-mark section. You have to attempt 2 questions out of 3 from the 10-mark section. You have to attempt 5 questions from the 4 mark section. Each question carries 4 marks.
Other: I chose it because I have a lot of interest in litigation. The college also organizes a fest once a year. The festival continues for two days. One day is for Sufi night and Qawwali night, and the other is a full JAM session.

Every student needs to know this before it's too late.
Placements: Hardly 5-6 percent of students got placed, and they are basically from the core branch. Non-core branches are not even there in interviews and very few companies come to RKGIT. I don't know why, but only a few MNCs indeed consider this college.
Infrastructure: They have labs and classes but no Wi-Fi. C Block lacks washrooms as well as water coolers. If I start from first year, then it has good faculty as well as exams and studies. Fests are conducted. In 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year no one cares what you are going to do in your life.
Faculty: Curriculum and exams are good. Some faculty do not tolerate at all, they are actually very immature and narrow-minded. Semester exams are really hard to crack if you don't study because it's not B.A. or B.Com so you can write anything and get promoted, you have to study.
Other: I chose this course because I don't want to go out of my city. This college is 2 km from my house that's the only reason I chose that college. Scholarships are given and the rest is average not below but also not excellent.

The worst college in the town.
Placements: No campus placement offers. There are so many billboards of the college saying that there are 60 LPA and 70 LPA packages, but there is no future from the college they can't even teach how to take an interview. The local companies come for placement but they offer a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. Is this a salary or cashback.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but hostel food is disgusting, and also they didn't let us go to the park and canteen. Also, in the canteen, the canteen staff charge more than the MRP.
Faculty: The worst faculty I have ever seen in my life. They can't teach us at all, and if we ask a question, they say we will cover this tomorrow and the next day they forget about it. The faculty are always in attitude mode. They can't let you do anything.
