Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Goel Group of Institutions
3.4
Teachers are the best, but placements are very low.
Placements: The placement percentage in my batch was 12.5 percent. Some batchmates got selected as interns in medical companies. Only Macleod's company came to the college for recruitment. Only 4 of 42 students got selected as interns in the packaging department at Macleods.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi on campus. Library was available. Students could borrow books for 15 days. After 15 days, a fine of 1 rupee per book per day was charged. Only 3 books could be issued at a time. The computer labs were good, and all pharmacy labs had the necessary equipment and chemicals. The canteen was good, and the hostel facilities were rated 7 out of 10. Sports activities mainly focused on cricket.
Faculty: Teachers treated students like school students by checking notes daily and conducting regular classes. If a student was absent from class or lectures, teachers informed their parents. The college was very strict in teaching, which was good for pharmacy students in becoming industry-ready. Industrial tours to Baddi and Manali were considered essential for industry exposure. The pass percentage in sessional exams was moderate.
Other: Events and fests were below average, while extracurricular activities were okay.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by D.A.V. P.G. College

In short if you want to just give exam it is a good check. There is no college life.
Placements: There are no regular classes in this college. If you just want to give papers and are thinking about doing extra stuff, then it will be a good college. There are no placements. For the NCC it's best. I was an NCC cadet, so for me it's good. Internships are not good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too bad. Classrooms are so dirty. If you take admission in a self-financing institution. It's a good choice. There is no canteen. In sports it's quite good and if you take NCC you get many opportunities. In self-financing the labs are good and the department and all are the best.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and helpful. Many students get a backlog in their exams. Some teachers are helpful but some are rude. You get a backlog in the exam so easily take your own risk. The pass percentage is good but it's too difficult to get a good CGPA.
Other: There are no events in college. If you are an NCC cadet you get many opportunities.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2027
Offered by School of Management Sciences, Lucknow
3.6
Good placements but strict.
Placements: Placements are good in this college. Companies like TCS, HCL, Godrej, Airtel, etc., come here for campus recruitment. The average package from my course BBA is around 2 LPA - 4.5 LPA. Courses like B.Tech and MBA offer the highest packages of around 7 LPA-8 LPA. Paid/unpaid internship opportunities also come here from different brands to get experience in the relevant field. Attendance is also very strictly compulsory, monitored daily via biometric fingerprint. The annual fests are also very entertaining. So if you can tolerate a school-like strict environment, you can get a good ROI from this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent. We have a big sports ground and spacious seating in classrooms with smart boards. Books based on the courses are issued from the library for free. Hostel infrastructure is good, but the food quality is just average. We have 2 canteens on campus both serve decent food quality and variety options.
Faculty: Semester exams are at a moderate level in my course. Also we get some other certification courses as well along with the semester syllabus. We get physical industry visits at nearby company factories and offices. We also get paid internships from college in the 2nd year from different brands, which makes us experienced in the relevant field and makes us industry-ready.
Other: Here campus life is totally zero as this college is located in an outer area of Lucknow, very far from the city. Here the dress code is also mandatory which feels like going to school. The annual fests, farewell of seniors, and welcome events of juniors are entertaining.

Fees are very high, and all these useless things are too much, studies are not done that much.
Placements: More than 60% of students get placed. The highest salary package is Rs. 30,000, and the lowest is Rs. 18,000 per month. Tata 1mg, Cipla company, and Mankind all provide placement. 65% of students get internships in companies such as Cipla, Tata 1 mg, Prega News, and other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure quality is average. Labs, classrooms, and everything else is good. Only the quality of studies is not available.
Faculty: Semester exams are not that tough. Teachers are not very experienced. Those who studied there are teaching now. So, take admission carefully.

M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration - Batch of 2027

It has good faculty, average infrastructure, but limited placements. Needs more practical exposure.
Placements: The M.A. in Criminologyย batch has a small strength with limited campus placements (around 10-20 percent). The highest package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. The lowest ranges from 1.5-2 LPA. The average ranges from 2.5-3 LPA. 40-50 percent of students get internships in the police, NGOs, and cyber cell. Roles like researcher, analyst, and social worker are offered. This field is based on skills over placements. It builds internships, fieldwork, and networking.
Infrastructure: Hostels have Wi-Fi. It has common rooms and reading rooms. The hostel has different types of wings in the lawn area. The quality of food is average and good. The infrastructure of departments at the university is average but functional. Departments have basic facilities like classrooms, libraries, and seating arrangements. Computer labs and digital facilities are available in some departments, but not everywhere.
Faculty: University of Lucknow teachers are very qualified and helpful. Their teaching skills are good. They are generally good and experienced. They teach clearly and focus on concepts. Some teachers are very helpful and guide students with their studies and careers.
Other: I chose my course because I am very much interested in real-world crimes and cyber crimes. I want to explore how the system works around crime, criminals, and the criminal justice system.

Dissatisfied with college infrastructure and curriculum.
Placements: Placements are good. Around 40-50% of students get placements with packages averaging around 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TVS, Bajaj, Parag, Coca-Cola, etc. Around 70-80% of students got internships, which is really high and very good for students to learn skills. Top roles include HR manager, Finance, and startup business.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too good; the college was earlier a hospital and later changed into a college. In classrooms, there are benches for students, a whiteboard, a marker, and a podium. There are 4 fans in the classroom and 2 windows for ventilation. In the hostel, there's a bed, an almirah and a locker provided, and you have to share your room with at least 2 people. The hostel mess food is okay, not too good.
Faculty: Teachers are not good here. Some of the teachers have complete knowledge of their subjects and they dictate and teach using phones in the classroom. The curriculum activity is good. They support students in activities and sports. The exams are tough. Around 50-60% of students pass in semester exams. The college conducts sessional exams, which is also good for revision and practicing questions.
Other: There is NCC in this college, which you can choose as a curricular activity that can help in your future career. The fests are not good here. We wish that they may get improved. There's not much crowd here, and there's not much connectivity with other departments. Average students receive scholarships.
