B.A.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream with the mentioned marks in aggregate or its equivalent on grading scale of respective boards (45% for PwD candidates).

Considering the Central University of Kashmir CUET cutoff 2024, students get into Central University of Kashmir with a score of 50 marks under General AI category as per the Last Round cutoff. Application fee for the B.Tech programme at Central University of Kashmir is not high.

The rates of application is divided into 2 catagories.

For OBC/General fees is - Approx INR 1000.

For SC/ST fees is INR 500-750.

Central University of Kashmir offers UG and PG courses for the candidates seeking admission for BTech, BSc-MSc, BVoc, BA LLB, MA, MSc, and MTech. It conducts the admissions based on CUET UG and PG score. Candidates must appear for the CUET- UG and PG entrance test, conducted by NTA. Based on candidates' performance in the CUET- UG and PG, consolidated merit lists for CUK courses will be released. Based on those lists, students gets shortlisted. Admission to CU Kashmir includes merit and entrance based eligibility criteria. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 along with valid scores in CUET UG/PG for the admission to UG and PG level courses. Furthermore, candidates must apply through the official website of the University. Shortlisted candidates must pay the fees and confirm the seat.

The University was established as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir. It was established along with 15 other Central Universities by an Act of Parliament in 2009. The University has been granted 503+ acres of land during its establishment by the state government. CUK has 21 schools and 21 constituent teaching departments.
