The University has released the median package details in the NIRF report 2024. During 2023 placements, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 3.26 LPA. Yes, the Central University of Kerala (CUK) accepts CUET PG scores for admissions into its postgraduate programs. The university offers various PG programs such as BA, BSc, PG Diploma, MBA, and MSW etc., and the admissions for these programs are based on scores in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET). The CUET PG exam is conducted for admission into various PG programs at participating Central, State, and Deemed universities, and it provides candidates a single window opportunity to seek admission to these participating universities nationwide.

CUET PG Result released will tentatively be release in May, 2026. 

According to central University of Kerala NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during Central University of Kerala PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 3.26 LPA. Earlier, the University has not released the official placement data for the year 2023. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out on the official website. As per the report,  234 PG (2-year) students were placed during the 2022 drive. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students during the Central University of Kerala placements 2022 was INR 4.80 LPA.

After the declaration of CUET PG 2026 exam results, CUET PG 2026 Counselling dates are expected to be announced in May, 2026.

The seats for many of the courses might get vacant because the candidates got upgraded to other courses or might leave the seat, which causes the conduction of one more round, which is called CUET PG 2025 Spot Round/ Spot Counselling/ Spot Round. 

The MSc placements at the Central University of Kerala seem to be promising. Most of the students got placed with very good salary packages, and the university has a distinct placement cell that offers placements and internship opportunities to students. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students during the 2022 placements was INR 4.80 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The placement statistics for the academic years show a good number of students placed and a decent median salary offered. The university also conducts job fairs and trains and grooms students for their professional careers.

Comparing the affordability of studying MSc at CU Kerala and JNU, CU Kerala seems to be a slightly more affordable option. CU Kerala's fees for MSc courses are around INR 4,700, whereas the MSc fees at JNU vary from INR 432 to INR 5,800. Thus, JNU tends to offer a cheaper alternative for MSc studies, particularly if the lower end of its fee structure is considered. However, the mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.
