The Central University of Rajasthan has seen some encouraging placements for B.Tech. students. 

Many businesses come to the college to place employees, and the average compensation package is between 5 and 6 LPA.
TCS, Azim Premji Foundation, and other big employers are among the top recruiters.
In the CSE department, placement rates range from 60–70%, with the lowest package being 2.1 LPA and the best being 14.5 LPA.
Since Central University's B.Tech. programme is still in its infancy, placement rates are not yet 100%. Nonetheless, three of the eight students in the first graduating class were placed on campus, earning an average of INR 11 LPA.

There are a total of 80 seats in BTech programme of Central University of Rajasthan. Aspirants are offered seat in BTech based on their JEE Main score. In 2024, the closing rank for BTech was the highest at 49021 for Computer Science Engineering. However, the rank saw a drop when compared with 2023 cutoff. 

Central University of Rajasthan offers BTech for a duration of four-years at the UG level. The course is spread across eight semesters. CURAJ offers BTech in the below specialisations:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering 
• Biomedical Engineering

Candidates must pass Class 12 or intermediate with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with a valid JEE Main score to apply for CURAJ BTech programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. 

Central University of Rajasthan admissions open with CUET-UG and CUET-PG registrations. The application process for CUET-UG begin in February and ends by March. The registrations for CUET-PG takes place between December and February. The admissions end with counselling. The registration for counselling begins in May. The admission end by August and students are called for the orientation programme.

Central University of Rajasthan has released the ongoing placement stats for the batch passing out in 2025. As per the latest report, the the highest and average package offered during Central University of Rajasthan placements in 2025 stood at INR 6.5 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively. After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
