My opinion on my college in just 3 months.

Placements: I am in my first year so I came to know from our senior that most of the companies came with the criteria of 6.0 CGPA and backlog in any semester cannot be accepted. Top recruiting company of our campus are cognizant, TCS and Range Ltd. No specific percentage creteria required for internship.

Infrastructure: Well maintain Labs and library available in our campus also 24*7 digital library facility available in campus library. The quality of food is quite good sometimes but sometime not but for that mess commiite is for that work. But the canteen of university is very good with fair charges.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and understanding. They help student in every situation whether it is related to studies ir any other topic. Semester exam are quite difficult in my university but you Crack it just by doing regular study and with disciplined mindset.

It has a good infrastructure.

Placements: This is our first batch of the electrical engineering course. About 40% of students are placed till now. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and many IT sector companies visit the college for placements. You have to apply for internships on your own, and the college does not help in that.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The campus has a full Wi-Fi facility. The library is great. Hostels are well-maintained, neat, and clean. The food served in a mess is average. Classrooms are good here. Facilities are good in our college. You will get all the sports equipment.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in our college. Their teaching quality is average. You have to do some extra curriculum to become industry-ready on your own. Teachers take the semester exam too seriously, so you have to be fully prepared for your semester exams. The difficulty level of exams is above average.

Teachers are not good, but placements are good. The hostel is the best, but there is no hostel life.

Placements: I am a student of 2019-2023 batch of B.Tech electrical engineering in SMVDU. Everyone gets placed, which is a good thing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostel is very good, and students also like it. There is no hostel life, as there are many restrictions. You can't go out after 8 pm, and no kind of celebration is allowed inside the hostel. Still, students adjust it.

Faculty: In this college, faculty members are not that good, and some teachers don't even know how to take classes. However, you just need to pass.

for higher studies, you can think about this college.

Placements: Electrical branch is newly opened, I think this branch started in 2018. Right now there is no more scope for placement for this branch, but I sure that as year passes it is going to be good option for placement. So if you think this college then take this college.

Infrastructure: Here wi-fi facilities is good which is available 24*7, there is also a facility of lab work in department, there is a library facility in the university where you can find good book and you can self study here. Mess food is not so good, but there is a facility of canteen in almost all hostel.

Faculty: Here teacher is helpful and have experienced and some knowledgeable and supportive nature. And the quality of teaching is almost good but not so high. There is no more such difficulty for passing semester, you can easily pass the semester exam from your own.

I am satisfied with good infrastructure, presence of nature, good placement.

Placements: In this college, the electrical engineering first batch started in 2018. so the first batch was placed last year only. The majority of students were placed with an average package of around 4.5. but most of the companies visited in the campus placement drive were tech companies.

Infrastructure: This college is known for, its modern-day infrastructure, triangular buildings, and first-year hostel are very good. Here you can feel nature. If you like nature, this is the place to visit. It also has many grounds for every sport, one big Matrika auditorium. Believe me, you will fall in love with this campus if you see it.

Faculty: I would say that faculty of electrical engineering is average, but it depends upon you having much knowledge you can take from them. All processors have done Ph.D. The curriculum is too vast, and exams are held regularly to test you. In offline mode, there are 2 minor exams and 1 major exam in a semester, but in online mode, the minor exam is reduced to one.

Other: This university is ranked above some nits. CSE, ECE, and EE are some of the best courses in B.Tech. Campus life is nice. If you love doing extracurricular activities then there are a lot of clubs. The campus is well connected to Katra and Jammu by bus, rail, and airport. Tech and nontech fests are regularly held. Titiksha is one of smvdu fest. Most important Vaishno Devi Bhavan is close to campus and you can view the tribute part from campus. The scholarship is given to those whose rank is under 1 LPA in JEE Mains.
