Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) is in Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2009, by the Parliament Act of 2002. The eligibility requirements for the integrated BA + MA in Economics at the Central University of Tamil Nadu are almost similar to those for the BA (Hons) courses. Candidates seeking admission to CUTN need to appear for the NTA-conducted CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance tests. These entrance exams are valid for all UG, PG and Integrated courses of CUTN. After the entrance exam, candidates are required to appear for the counselling process.

The Central University of Tamil Nadu Cutoff 2023 for all UG and PG programs is based on scores obtained in CUET.  The expected cutoff for CUET UG 2023 for the Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, for the 5 Year Integrated / Dual Degree BA-MA Social Management programme is 390-400 for the 1st merit list. The passing marks in CUET 2023 is between 300-400.
