Most of the faculty members are reachable.
Placements: As it is the first batch (PGDM), the placement process has been as expected not too great but not that bad as well. Internship opportunities are huge for PGDM students. If you don't get in through the internship process, the faculty members will help you get into some companies through their contacts in the market. Stipends offered range from Rs. 10,000 pm to 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: There's only 1 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel as the population of girls is higher on this campus. The hostel provides very minimalistic facilities. You'll have to share common bathroom/washrooms. There are no AC and no washing machines but you can get your clothes cleaned by the "Akkas" who clean our rooms.
Faculty: The course structure is highly mathematical and I suggest any aspirants make sure your mathematical skills are up to mark. Having a basic understanding of programming languages and statistics can be very useful. It is a very rigorous course and you will have to put in a lot of effort.

MBA in Apparel Management - Batch of 2017
Offered by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management
    3.2
    3Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good infrastructure, friendly faculty, lenient and average placements.
Placements: My batchmates were placed in reputed companies. 75% students were placed in my batch. The salary package ranges between 15000 to 30000. Vardhaman, Aditya Birla, NTC Mills, Synthesis, KPM Mills, SP Apparel, SCM, etc. If it is an apparel company, then the postings are like merchandiser, quality controller, HR, marketing manager and designer and if it is a mill, then it differs. There is a condition that every student must do the internship on the placed companies and if so not placed then placement cell offers internship companies. Though we are going as a trainee to the placed companies, mostly there is no stipend but some students are offered minimum 5000/month.
Infrastructure: Our college is a Wi-Fi campus and we have computer labs and textile labs are emerging but college doesn't give importance to sports and games. There are no medical facilities provided. We are blessed with smart classrooms and AC labs. Not so good food is provided in canteens and mess which is for hostel students. But hostel rooms and facilities are good. Though I am a day scholar, there are no issues I faced because of the food or any infrastructure.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members ate experienced, well-qualified and knowledgeable. We are blessed with friendly staff members. Projectors were used to train us and the ratio of student and faculty members are 10:10. Weekly once we were exposed to mills and companies. The course is useful.
Other: I request the students who are interested in joining in our college to refer all the details before you join. Our college doesn't provide valuable certificates. Still, it is under the process. So think before you join. I add our college had faced some issues like strikes because of this valuable certificates. So just collect information before you select our college and though it is a government college, the fee is less and there will be entrance exams but it is too easy. Based on marks you score the slot you fall will vary and fees vary. The timings are between 9 to 4 and weekly 2 Saturdays are provided with leave. We celebrate every festival. Mainly the college is not strict so the students can enjoy without tensed. The final year projects are important which speaks on your placements.
