 CUTN, the Central University of Tamil Nadu offers different masters courses in a variety of specialisations. M.Tech (Master of Technology) is of them. This course has 3 specializations as follows:

M.Tech in material science
M.Tech in computer science
M.Tech in energy and environmental technology
All three specialisations is 2 year degree, off campus. And exam accepted for there couses are CUET PG. The minimum marks for admission is 60% for general category, 55% for obc and 50% for st/sc candidates. 

The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) is located at Thiruvarur in Tamil Nadu. CUTN has an active placement cell that offers various placement opportunities to its students so that they can be well-set up at in the corporate world. According to the university records, it succeeded in offering decent placements to nearly 60% of the students. The average packages offer range from 8LPA-10 LPA while the highest salary package offered was that of 25 LPA. The eligibility requirements for the integrated BA + MA in Economics at the Central University of Tamil Nadu are almost similar to those for the BA (Hons) courses. Therefore, applicants are required to complete their Class 12 from any stream with decent scores and must have secured valid scores in CUET UG scores. Moreover, at the time of filling out the BA application form, candidates are required to select the integrated MA in Economics course. 

CUET PG Result will be tentatively released in May 2026. Going by last year's trends, the exam will be conducted in a window of 15-20 days in March 2026. Followed by the release of the answer keys, the result will be declared in the first week of May 2026, on the exam website.

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

Yes, the Central University of Tamil Nadu accepts CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exam scores for admission to the undergraduate, integrated and postgraduate courses. Candidates seeking admission to CUTN need to appear for the NTA-conducted CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance tests. These entrance exams are valid for all UG, PG and Integrated courses of CUTN. After the entrance exam, candidates are required to appear for the counselling process.
