Good college with good infrastructure and facilities, and the growth rate is genuinely very fast.
Placements: Around 800 out of 1000 students were placed last year, which is a good sign. The highest package last year was 53 LPA. The average was around 6 LPA, and the median was around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Adobe, Amazon, Capgemini, etc. Top roles offered are software engineers, web developers, etc.
Infrastructure: All the labs are air-conditioned, classes are in good condition, Wi-Fi is also provided, and you can access any book from the library. Facilities here are well-mannered. Everyone is polite, and teachers are genuinely helpful in nature. The college also provides sports, medical, and other facilities.
Faculty: They have a wealth of knowledge, are helpful, polite, humble, and also provide the utmost attention to every student. This course is very relevant for every CSE background student, and especially the teachers here provide the skills that help us in the industry. Overall, they are preparing us to become good cooperative men/women.
Other: I chose this course because ever since I was a kid, I was very much interested in computers and tech-related things. The best thing is that they are providing everything that is needed to help me in the future. Some areas that must be included are project sessions, because for a fresher, projects are the most important thing (now the college is providing them). They conduct the best events in all of Punjab. They hire big singers and influencers, which is a fun aspect.

Placements: I am a student at this college. As far as I know, that college is giving 100% of placements to students, and the highest package till now by college placements drive is 1 crore in an overseas country. The course that achieves the highest packages is Computer CSE. So, in conclusion, this college is best for placements.
Infrastructure: The college is working on the infrastructure by building new blocks and a new hostel. Upgrading the old blocks according to new technology. Here you see many blocks for a particular Course. Currently, they have 7 blocks and are building more for other courses, and 4 hostels, 2 for girls and 2 for boys.
Faculty: The college is hiring new and experienced faculty and staff. They already have experienced faculty. Curriculum and exams currently, this college is being transformed into a university, so the exams and other curriculum come under autonomous. The difficulty of exams is moderate.

Placements: Strength is good in this branch. This course is related to generating AI. Top companies are coming there, and students get placements. Many companies visit the campus like Flipkart, Walmart, and Microsoft. The most reputed companies of India visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. It has well-ventilated labs, and food is good. It provides all facilities to all hostel students. The libraries of CGC University are well prepared, and all the students are active participants. Wi-Fi facilities and other facilities are also so good.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and experienced. They have a good framework curriculum according to this field, and the syllabus is designed relevantly. It provides good quality education. The exams at CGC University are too good.
Other: In batch 2024-28, many activities are organised. Everyone is participating. All curricular activities and scholarship schemes are provided.

A Balanced Blend of Academics and Campus Life .
Placements: Batch of 2024, B.Tech Computer Science (CSE). The total students in the course is 120. Students eligible for placements are 115. Students placed 106 out of 115 (92%). The highest package is ₹32 LPA, the lowest package is ₹3.5 LPA, and the average package is ₹8.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro.
Infrastructure: The labs are decent, but the lack of proper AC makes them quite uncomfortable during the summer. Classrooms also do not have AC, and the Wi-Fi is very unreliable most of the time. The hostel food is, honestly, horrible, with very limited variety and poor taste. Students often have to rely on outside food because the mess food is not up to standard. Even the Wi-Fi in hostels does not work properly, which causes problems for academic work and online classes.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them explain concepts well and clear doubts when asked. The teaching quality is good, though it depends on the faculty member, to be honest. The course curriculum is relevant. Updated to an extent with subjects that align with industry standards.
Other: I chose this course because it aligned with my career goals and interests and because CGC University offered good placement opportunities and has a reputable faculty in this field. The best part of the course is the practical exposure through labs, projects, and internships. The faculty is approachable, and there are opportunities to participate in seminars, workshops, and hackathons. Some things can definitely be better. The Wi-Fi rarely works, the classrooms and labs don't have AC, and the mess food is below average.

CGC University is average in academics and placements.
Placements: Placements are average and not as strong as advertised. Most companies offer low packages, and opportunities are heavily dependent on branches. Recently, CGC claimed that one of the students got a 1 crore package, but the truth is that the offer was off-campus.
Infrastructure: The campus looks big from outside, but classrooms lack even basic facilities like AC, which makes learning uncomfortable. Rooms and food quality here are good, but the hostels do not have enough capacity. Because of space constraints, many students are shifted to CGC Landran hostels, where the rooms and food are of very poor quality.
Faculty: The university gives very little focus to skill development. Classes are very theory-based. Students often struggle to gain real industrial-level experience. The mass supply system is a major issue. Instead of improving academics, the university benefits financially through rechecking and applying fees.
Other: CGC organizes many events, cultural festivals, and technical events throughout the year. Students do get opportunities to participate in singing, dancing, and sports etc.

Placements: Nearly 90% of students were placed in our college. The highest package is 12.5 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are JPMorgan, McKinsey, Google, etc. The top roles offered are HR Operations, Management, Fintech Business, and Analytics consultancy. Top banking companies visit the campus, and a Fintech company.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good, they provide very good facilities for education, summer vacation, industrial visits, and placements. Apart from that, the guidance for starting a programme at the college includes Wi-Fi services, classrooms, and libraries with more than 5000 books available.
Faculty: Teachers guide us in the academy, which enhances our skills and interpretation in finance and accounting. They also provide the best quality of experience and practical experience in the compatibility of architecture and study, calculate the air design it is ready for industrial needs.
Other: I chose this course because I understand corporate work, and I am able to challenge, face, and start my own startup business. I am able to understand how to survive in a competitive work environment.
