The MBA in Business Analytics offered with IBM at Chandigarh University is an excellent choice for individuals who genuinely want to work in data-driven management. I have witnessed students engage in hands-on work instead of static theory - students are using tools like python, R and Tableau to manage real-time datasets; students are actually learning from IBM experts in workshops. The most important part is that the course content is constantly adapting to today's needs within the industry and this helps a lot with placements. Plus, I think that the 'IBM' tag adds credibility to your resume. The programme is definitely more practical and geared for a career than a traditional MBA program.

To be honest, I think it comes down to the person who is attending. If you are going to be able to participate and take advantage of what this university does for its students, then yes, I think the MBA is worth it. The university often does case study competitions, industrial tours, and business conclaves, where all students have the opportunity to meet and hear from real-world professionals. For example, some students presented as part of the university's management festival while others interned with startups through Chandigarh University's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurs. The placement departments offers mock interviews that can really help prepare students for final placements. After my course, I have friends who were placed as management trainees with a company.
