And in the universities list, it is in the 19th position, which means it is in the top 20 of the country. Among private universities, the rank is even better. CU is 8th in India, and number 1 in North India private universities. Even in Punjab, it holds the first place among private institutions. In subjects like pharmacy, architecture, engineering, management, and research, it is also among the top ranges.

The answer is very simple: it has always been worth it. Almost students dream taking admission here, not because the university is good in curriculum, but also because the university offers a top-notch quality education, a wider range of specializations and students get to learn a lot practical experience, even as per the change in demand and trends of industry, several workshops, seminars and guest lectures are also organized by the university so that students can interact with expert personalities of market and can learn from them. My review about the Chandigarh University is THE BESTEST EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE.

Not having prior knowledge of computers won't be a major problem if you choose CSE at Chandigarh University. The programme begins with foundational courses, so even students from pure PCM backgrounds adapt comfortably. CU has structured learning resources, coding labs, and mentorship to guide beginners step by step. What's more interesting is that you can even opt for Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering (Hons.) IBM – Cyber Security, which opens doors to a highly specialised career path. This collaboration with IBM ensures industry-driven curriculum, certifications, and hands-on exposure to real cybersecurity tools. You'll learn everything from scratch, but with the added benefit of an internationally recognised specialization. Over time, your growth will be significant, and you'll be ready for roles in emerging fields like cybersecurity, AI, and data science, with strong placement opportunities.

Chandigarh Universityis fairly strict when it comes to eligibility forB.E. ib Biotechnology, but the requirements are clear and reasonable. To apply, you need 10+2 with Physics as a compulsory subject and any two of chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology, or Mathematics, with at least 50% aggregate marks.Additionally, CUCET is compulsory for admission. As long as you meet these criteria, CU will consider your applications; it's strict in ensuring students have the right foundation but not unnecessarily rigid beyond the stated requirements.

For contacting Chandigarh University's CSE branch, you have several options. The most direct way is to call the toll-free admission helpline number (available on CU's official website), where trained admission executives provide step-by-step guidance about the CSE program. You can also send an email to the official admissions team, who reply with brochures and details about fee structure, scholarships, and specialisations. CU also runs online chat support on its website, where you can ask quick questions about CSE courses. In addition, the university organizes regular open-house sessions and online webinars where prospective students can interact with the faculty. For students living nearby, visiting the campus admission office is the best option, as you get a tour of the infrastructure and labs. With so many communication channels, it's very easy to get all the information you need about Chandigarh University's CSE branch.
