Chandigarh University excels in both Chemical and Computer Engineering programs. Chemical Engineering provides solid foundations in process design, environmental engineering, and industrial applications. The programme includes practical labs and electives in petroleum and environmental engineering. Computer Engineering, meanwhile, focuses on software, systems, and data analytics, with options like the IBM-specialized CSE programme for students wanting deeper expertise in AI and analytics. With strong faculty, modern labs, and NIRF 31 ranking, CU ensures students in both fields are industry-ready. Students interested in tech, software, or analytics will benefit more from CSE, while those aiming for industrial or process-oriented careers may prefer Chemical Engineering.

Chandigarh University provides decent placement opportunities for BA LLB (Hons.) graduates. The programme emphasizes both litigation and corporate exposure, so students can choose their career path. Recruiters from corporate firms, consultancy companies, and law firms often visit the campus. Students also benefit from internships during the five-year course, which often convert into pre-placement offers. The law school organizes workshops, guest lectures, and national seminars to improve employability skills. While not every student opts for campus placements, some go for judiciary exams or higher education, the placement support ensures that interested students get opportunities. With active participation in moot courts, research, and internships, BA LLB (Hons.) graduates generally find themselves well-placed after completing the program.

Law studies need both theory and ground experience. BBA LLB is designed to give that mix. The course at Chandigarh University gives long internships, like 12 weeks in third year and 20 weeks in final year. These are with senior lawyers, legal firms, human rights bodies, and corporate companies. Many students also get global exposure through internships abroad. Because of these internships, many firms pick students directly during placements. Companies like Trilegal, Indus Law, DSK Legal, and J Sagar have recruited from here. The placement team helps students with training, soft skills, and interviews. While placements depend on student performance, opportunities are strong in both litigation and corporate law. So, students completing this course usually find good scope in law firms, legal departments of companies, and even NGOs. It becomes a good platform for those who want career in business law, corporate law, or practice.
