CVMU BTech is a four-year full-time course, which is offered across 16 specialisations. The available course specialisations are Civil Engineering at GCET, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering at GCET, Automobile Engineering and many more. Admissions are based on GUJCET or JEE (Main) scores. Apart from entrance exams, students can also take admission through management quota or merit basis.

After seat allocation in counselling, candidates need to pay the first year fees. The total CVMU BTech fees include two components, tuition fees and hostel fees. CVMU fees depends on the college and branch is chosen by student. Fee is accepted only through online mode.
If a student wishes to cancel their admission, refund of fees is done only before last date of admission. A deduction of INR 1000 is applicable. No refund is given after 30 days of last date of admission.
