I advise students not to take admission here. The atmosphere of the college is very bad.

Placements: As a student of this college, I feel it is important to share an honest review of the placement scenario here. Unfortunately, the placement situation is far from what is promised during admission. The college tends to exaggerate the number and quality of companies visiting the college. In reality, only a handful of companies come for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of my college is quite disappointing and does not meet the basic standard expected from a reputed university. Apart from the admission area, which is well-maintained to create a good first impression for new students and parents. The rest of the campus lacks proper care and development.

Faculty: The quality of faculty members in my college is very poor. Overall, there are a few genuinely good and dedicated professors who care about teaching and students' understanding. They are the exceptional rather than the norm. The majority of the faculty members lack both proper teaching skills and willingness to support students. The biggest issue is that many faculty members mostly complete their syllabus in the last few weeks.

Other: Fests are a disaster. It is like they do not plan anything ahead of time. All of them depend on each other for them to come up with ideas.

Placements: In my course at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, a total of 60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Large companies like TCS, IBM, etc., come for recruitment. All students get internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are good. Wi-Fi is good, laptops are provided, and classrooms are well-equipped.Good quality facilities are available in hostel. Food is served in the mess and canteen and medical and sports are decent and very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching qualities are excellent. Course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams in the college is average. The passing percentage is very good, nearly 90%.

Other: I chose this course because it is best for high-quality education and learning artificial intelligence and machine learning. One thing that can be improved is the amount of fees, as the fees are very high.

I would recommend this college to someone who prefers a slow and steady lifestyle.

Placements: Placements are provided to many students. The salary package offered is 1 lakh for month. Companies offer internships to young students who are about to graduate and sometimes hire them after graduation. Approximately 32%–40% of the students in a batch are hired by companies through campus placements.

Infrastructure: The college provides basic amenities like a canteen and hostel, where cleanliness is well maintained. College campus is also very clean. It offers basic internet facilities, including Wi-Fi across the campus, as well as essential tools and improvements needed for students.

Faculty: Other teachers also teach very well. Their style of teaching is easy to understand and helps in learning effectively. They provide notes after each lecture and address students' doubts. Exams are conducted thoroughly. The difficulty level is average and practical sessions are conducted using various equipment.

Other: The college organises various events and programs throughout the year. There are many opportunities for students to showcase their talents, make new friends, and help the college gain fame and recognition.

Everything you wanted to know about CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ UNIVERSITY, PANVEL.

Placements: The percentage of students placed from B. Tech AIML is considerably low and also less than other departments in the university. The highest package got in B. Tech AIML is 8-9 LPA, the lowest is 2-3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Almost every company visits here, but you can't expect more salaried packages. It's a new university established in 2018, so it is still performing at its best. On average, as per my enquiry, there are almost TCS, IBM internships available for everybody, but I don’t know about the conditions.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for B. Tech AIML are excellent, with air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, computer labs with high processing capacities, and a well-stocked library. Overall, it is more than decent. The quality of facilities in the university hostel is the best, and the canteen or mess food is hygienic and vegetarian. Yes, it's a vegetarian food delivery. Sports like football, cricket, etc., are available for extracurricular activities.

Faculty: The teachers, not gonna lie, are the best thing. They are very supportive, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and well-designed for students to be industry-ready. Yes, the semester exams are not difficult but competitive. The average pass percentage in class is 90%.

Other: The reason for me choosing B. Tech AIML is because of direct opportunities in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The best thing about my course is that practicality is more than theory. I wish they improve the fees, as they are very high, not just for middle-class persons, but they are also very flexible. They don’t force students to pay their fees on a particular date. They have a concession policy and more.
